We stayed 2 nights in a lovely private cabin that looked like a small Swiss chalet surrounded by rolling green hills and gorgeous sunset views. This wonderful oasis is tucked away from the dusty road off Monteverde (this is the dry season and the roads get quite dusty) but the land here is gorgeous and green, green, green! Our hosts...

Imagine going to another country and staying with distant relatives who were warm and welcoming and treated you like close family. Now imagine that these relatives lived on a beautiful, working, sustainable farm and had private and comfortable cabins for you to stay in. THAT is what staying at Valle Campanas was like!! Our host Reina went above and beyond...

We absolutely loved this place. The photos don't do it justice. Reina is such a lovely host, there are walking trails for birding and beautiful secluded grounds. Room for the kids to play and the parents to relax. The cabins are spacious and very well kept. Very nice clean washrooms with hot water. We loved our time here.

We stayed for 2 days in a well appointed cabin that was large enough for 2 families. They have four cabins on a working farm with sugar cane, coffee, chickens, cows, talapia and tons of fruit. They're terrific hosts and worked tirelessly to make us feel welcome. They arranged (with short notice) a tour guide for the Curi Conchal morning...

We booked last minute but the owner was very accommodating and had space for us in Cabaña Atardecer. The cabin had a spacious kitchen, living room, master bedroom and huge bathroom. It had a second bedroom that I would recommend for kids because you have to walk through the room to get to the bathroom and master bedroom. The cabin...

This place had a magical quality. The owners could not have been more welcoming. The husband got their sugar can machinery up and running to demonstrate to us and they poured us samples of the cane juice. The property has a walking path that is just beautiful. The cabins are lovely. The owners are lovely. The serve a wonderful breakfast....

Reina and her family were great hosts and the location was perfect. Close to downtown and all the major reserves in manicured grounds with simple but very clean and functional installations. Highly recommend it.

We chose to stay here based on previous reviews in Trip Advisor, and we completely agree with all of the positive comments. This place is an oasis, and we struggled to leave every morning because the birds were so amazing in the trees right beside our deck. Reina was extremely helpful arranging a couple of tours for us and was...

Stay at Cabanas Valle Campanas if you want tranquility, beauty, and the home away from home feel. I cannot say enough about Reina and her family. She made us feel as if we have always lived here and had gone above and beyond to make us feel that way. I've traveled to many places in Costa Rica in the past...

What a lovely spot! After leaving the bustling village of Santa Elena, we were delighted to arrive at this charming place, tucked away from the main road. Reina made us feel immediately welcome. We stayed in a two-story cabin on the property, with sunset views, beautiful birds, and short trails. The breakfast was delicious. The day we were leaving, we...
