This is a pleasant enough site and we received a warm and friendly welcome. It is a well kept site and grass was mowed (not always the case on some campsites). There was a nice looking indoor pool but didn't use it. There is also an outdoor pool which was closed which was all green and covered in algae but...

We were expecting a lot from camping Portland but it really failed to live up to expectations. We stayed in four campsites in France in June and this campsite was the dearest but had the worst accommodation and poorest facilities. The mobile was old and musty, i think it was called a utah with two bedrooms, it had hard and...

CAmping as a family with young children for a week end of May. Absolutely lovely site, very clean and friendly. Each pitch has its own hedge and is spacious. Indoor pool which can be quite cold - but still fine. When the sun shines theres a bouncy castle - all for free. Good hot running showers and hot water for...

Stayed over the DDay landings commeration weekend and were very impressed by Camping Portland. The luxe cottages were fabulous - so modern and clean. The camp site is so well maintained and immaculate in its presentation. The restaurant was good too and had a good offering. Playground just outside the door so the children could play away and then pop...

Situated away from high above the cliffs over seeing Port-en-Bessin-Huppain Camping Port'land is a family run site designed and a former architect. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin a short walk away from the central bar/restaurant. It was a delightful home from home with hedged plot surrounding it giving you the feel of comfort in your own little area,...

I booked this site for its central location. What we got was an immaculate campsite, fantastic staff, super facilities and a secure, happy atmosphere. My daughter loved the pools and activities available. We will be going back there again. It's a short walk to the local town a bit steep on the way back up for older people but definitely

having attended this site 10 years previously & found it a lovely spacious site we were shocked on arrival to find that the hedges & trees had now fully grown & made the campsite more enclosed & less accessible for our caravan. we requested a large comfort pitch but were given one that was impossible to gain access to as...

Thank you for your comment. First of all we find really nice that you noticed the evolution of the campsite ! We are really sorry for the problems you met regarding the pitch size.. but currently we are working in our garden to make some changes about this, but in fact you're right, if you have a very large caravan...

We visited for 5 nights at the end of May, it was very quiet not many people there. Great location for exploring d day sites. We loved the tent pitch, lots of space and very private as surrounded by hedges. Our children loved the bouncy castle and park. We went swimming every evening and had the pool to ourselves. The...
