Enjoyed La Royante with friends for a week-end, and the break was absolutely delightful. Sophie and André are wonderful caring hosts and produce their best effort to make the stay unforgettable. The view from the "Calanques de Cassis" (15 minutes away) where we picknicked after a good walk is also something to see in a lifetime. Overall a magnificent experience!!

J'ai eu la chance de rendre visite a Andre et Sophie dans leur bastide et j'ai non seulement retrouver des amis chers et découvert un lieu de charme qui invite a la retraite spirituelle Not only the location et the house is beautiful, but you will also be able to travel through the 18th century. Do not miss the chapel,...

We really loved our 3 night stay at La Royante. It is a perfect quiet haven in the midst of a busy trip across the south of France. Our room was spacious, and comfortable, with its own en-suite chapel. Not many places can boast that! The grounds were beautiful and quiet, with a fine pool to relax by at the...

Just the perfect place for a refreshing break away from the big city (London in our case): stunning and so spacious that it really is a little haven of peace. To top it up, André and Sophie are ideal hosts, with that perfect mix of local culture and international travel, and a great sense of humor too. Highly recommended.

I have been leading small groups to France for 20 years and stayed in many B&B's and La Royante was a favorite for myself and all my travelers. One is surrounded by beauty in every corner, both on the grounds and in the rooms. It was sheer pleasure to find ourselves in these lovely chambers! Sophie and Andre were completely...
