This is a great place to stay - 5-minute walk from the train station, next to two squares and good restaurants, on the edge of the historic city. Staff is wonderful - helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. The room is very comfortable - quiet, dark, good bed - and it even has two wall plug-ins accessible under the desk! Wish I could...

Small but comfortable hotel. Good location near restaurants and down town area. Room was clean with view on square. Buffet breakfasts were very enjoyable, plenty of items to choose from, including good croissants and coffees. My only complaint is that room safe was on the floor of closet. Very hard to reach. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend...

This is a difficult review. A quiet small hotel on 3 floors with good rooms, very pleasant staff and a good breakfast (extra). Two major issues, the in room air con struggles to cope with outside temperatures in the 30s especially on the west façade. We changed rooms after a horrid hot night and the second was OK. But more...

Good location, clean, modern rooms but in need of some decoration. The bed was comfortable and breakfast of high quality. Could benefit from parking facilities and better wi-fi service. Also a pool would have been nice.

Spent 2 nights in Souleia Hotel. Big rooms, Very spacious. couldn't understand why the toilet is seperated from the shower. Airconditioning wasn't working. the noise from the nearby square was too loud! lots of people there after midnight with loud voices, playing football and screaming. Wifi is available for free and you can find many shops, bars and restaurants around

Two night stay here. Bit of trouble finding it, got there in the end though. Late arrival 8:00 pm or so. Reception staff helpful, telling us where we could eat later. Good restaurants and cafes in the square, right outside the hotel. Parking on public car park a short walk away. 5 min tops. Hotel gave discount on charges Lovely...

I stay at this hotel during work trip to Aubagne, two or three nights at time. The hotel is confortable, rooms have spacious enough and nothing is missing. Breakfast is good, and the hotel is quiet, conveniently located at the center of Aubagne.

This stylish and simple hotel has spacious rooms with a special typical local style from Prpvence, light and colorful. All this good taste for a reasonable price, and a team genuinely charming and willing to go the extra mile to help out. A 3* to recommend, located right in the centre. Came for a simple stay over, and had a...

although the hotel room and breakfast were average, the overall feel of the place was quite nice. and its in a nice area of town to have a wonder around before the evening meal. there are a good selection of restaurants around for the evenings, and there are a good amount of little shops. I would stay here again

4 day stay on business..like the location...right on a town square with (not sure of the frequency) morning produce/fish/cheese/etc market...several restaurants close by (but no english menus that I could find); full size grocery store in the next block (between hotel & parking garage)...my room (120) was good sized but the single beds didn't leave much room for toss &...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An ideal pied-à-terre to discover the landscapes of Provence Located in the heart of a vast territory of circuits and country walks, the hotel Souleia is the ideal place to pace Provence, from the coast to the hinterland. On these sunny lands, you come to smell the pines and the good air of Provence and lose yourself in the hills counted by the biggest, Giono, Alphonse Daudet, and especially, Marcel Pagnol, the child of Aubagne. To cool off, you enjoy a little dip in the Mediterranean and bask in the sun in one of those hidden coves that conceal the Calanques de Cassis. In the evening, it is good to taste the local cuisine on the shady squares of the Provençal villages! Finally, if you want to taste a more agitated atmosphere, Marseille and its old port is the address all indicated! Succumb to the charm of an unusual interior design The hotel has been completely redesigned: more comfort, more equipment, but above all a clean and contemporary decoration, letting art express itself freely through urban photographs. Strolling through the corridors to your room, you feel like living in the heart of a gallery ... So many humorous touches scattered across the place: a colorful Amy Winehouse may throw you a glance Corner above your sofa. The bathroom blends perfectly into this contemporary, airy and well-appointed setting. Appreciate its location in the heart of Aubagne On the rooftop of the hotel, after a few fitness exercises in the new fitness room, you will taste the rich breakfast. When we look up from our plate, the gaze stops at first on the imposing hill of Garlaban. From here, the city is also dominated, and below the market square where local producers display fragrant fruits and vegetables. With this vitamin breakfast, you will discover Aubagne and its narrow streets, You are here a stone's throw from the train station, bars and lively restaurants. And always.... Personalized and friendly service ... more   less
