We chose zorba's after reviewing on trip advisor and we were delighted we chose this resort. 53 bungalows on a generous plot of land with fantastic views of the akrotiri peninsula surrounded by mature gardens, play areas and a large sea water pool (different but we very quickly got used to it). It felt quiet even when busy. Lovely. The...

Two weeks in July, 2 adults and 2 kids (age 6) and this is just the perfect place. A short (20€ taxi) from airport, huge rooms, we booked double rooms and got two connected with both seaview and gardenview. (Rooms 39-43) Standard not high but size and location of rooms was great. Aircon (charged €8/day), refridgerator/freezer in rooms. Clean and...

Quite a unique natural place. Beautiful natural environment, basic but comfortable stay. It is an absolutely very Kids friendly hotel, very friendly staff too. It should be noted however that the breakfast and coffees are way too expensive considering the quality and place. 4 euro for a coffee seems exaggerated considering I paid the same at the Athens hilton. I...

We stayed at the Zorbas in late June and had a fabulous time. I had my my reservations as it only has a one star rating but was very pleased with my choice. We arrived late and stressed after navigating our way from the airport (without our Satnav. which for some reason didn't work) to be welcomed by George whose...

Though Zorbas Beach Village is actually a nice little village right on a nice rocky beach, it is about 30mins from Chaniatown. The first night we had to take a taxi and it was costly, so my best suggestion is rent a car, which is what we ended up doing. Also, this place charges for everything!! They charge for hot...

I visited in June with my parents and we had an amazing stay. I don't often rate anything 5 stars but I had a great time. It's remote and secluded with a small gorgeous beach and 3 restaurants. There are amazing views of the sunset from the pool side. The rooms were fairly sizeable and were cleaned every day. The...

Unfortunately the weather during Spring Break wasn't warm enough to get into the water. The pool was nice and the view even better. The area is away from town so be sure to get a rent a car. The rooms are old but clean. Bathrooms were very small. Kind of like camping out with conveniences. You can't beat the value...

We were in Zorbas Beach 2 adults 1 child for 4 days. The Hotel is approx. 20 min from Chania Airport but we never heard any planes. I would describe the overall atmosphere at the Hotel as sympathic, relaxing and peaceful. The Resort is quite and the guests and staff was friendly. The pool (saltwater) was clean and has an...

Zorbas location is great, with a large saltwater pool overlooking the sea. The gardens and apartments are immaculate and constantly maintained, we got fresh free range eggs from their chickens. We will return!
