We spent two great weeks at the Limanaki. Checking in was great and very welcoming. There is a nice, relaxing atmosphere here with friendly and helpful staff, particularly Giota on reception and Niko and Alessandra at mealtimes.

The star rating can be very misleading - for example size of TV screens helps bolster it up (who is really too bothered by that when on holiday!). I've stayed here several times and it is worth far more than 2 stars. If you want a peaceful tranquil location but with easy access to plenty of taverna's and bars this is spot on. It is immaculately maintained too and the bar and restaurant in the hotel are lovely. The staff are what makes this place extra special - all of them absolute gems. It is worth hiring a car but also only around 7 euros into Argostoli by taxi, or around 18 euro's to the hotel from the airport by taxi.
