Beautiful Bed&Breakfast, everything is delightfully decorated to the smallest detail, excellent breakfast with great choice, wonderful host who is willing to help in any way - you can't expect anything more.

We stayed at this B&B for only one night on our first night in Ireland, and it set the tone for our 4-day stay in the country. It is perfectly situated and easy to get to from Dublin and certainly to the city center and castle in Trim. Marie was the consummate hostess, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her...

Although we arrived late after a long day of driving, and left early the next morning for the airport, Marie at Tigh Cathain was so kind and helpful to us. She was waiting to welcome us, showed us to our comfortable room, explained our breakfast arrangements, and gave us directions for gas, a bank machine, and dinner in Trim. She...

The debate was between simply going to an airport hotel or looking for a B&B to stretch out one last night in Ireland. Thank goodness there was a room available at Tigh Cathán! The home is story-book perfect and we felt so welcomed when we arrived. Our room was delightful, the bed super comfortable. We had time to explore the...

What a wonderful welcome from Marie. A beautiful B&B in a beautiful part of Ireland. We booked two rooms, both were spacious and very clean, with en-suite and very comfortable beds, much needed after a busy day sightseeing. The Irish breakfast is a must plus the home made jams are also worth the visit. Trim is an ideal location for...

Marie does a wonderful job at making you feel at home at Tigh Cathain. The rooms are spacious and clean. Everyone had a bed! We were a family of 5 and were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choices. Marie makes you feel like you are part of the family! Highly recommended.

Marie provided our family with the loveliest accommodations. We had two rooms between us, both set with angelic wallpaper, cozy linens, and windows that opened up to views of her wooded garden. It was nothing short of magical. Several delicious breakfast options, served on floral china in the most perfect Irish country dining room. I felt right at home at...

The rooms are cozy and private. The fresh, local ingredients of the breakfast made it the best I had while in Ireland. The service was excellent and the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend staying at Tigh Cathain when in the Trim area. I would definitely stay here again.

Tigh Cathain is the definition of a charming and welcoming B&B. We drove up and saw the beautiful flowers and Marie tending to them. She greeted us warmly and showed us our cozy room complete with fresh spring water. The B&B is close to Trim and a good choice for touring the ancient sites in the area. Plus Marie gave...
