This was our second year running staying at the hotel and we will definitely return next year again. Renato and his team couldn't do enough for us - I even got a lecture from the very kind Salvatore about protecting my skin while sunbathing by the pool bar. The room was perfect, large and airy with a magnificent sea view.... More

After reading the fantastic reviews on trip advisor we decided to book the hotel for eight nights and our expectations were exceeded. As said by everyone we received a personalised welcome, we had requested a room with a sea view and the staff were able to ensure we got this. Our room was very spacious and had a spectacular view... We loved the hotel and the food for dinner was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful and the views were fabulous. Because you're so high up in the hills, the views would be less spectacular if you were down in Sorrento. Air conditioning was great and very much needed.Shuttle bus provides a good service. LA Stucchichino restaurant in St Agata... More

My husband and I stayed here in July and we had a brilliant time. The rooms are clean and spacious and we had a great view of the bay from ours. Its only a short walk from the village and has a lovely pool area/snack bar etc. There is a free shuttle bus to Sorrento a number of times a... More

We spent most of our break around the pool which was a good size and very clean. The beds where very firm ( if... More

We recently toured Italy and it was indeed a great pleasure to be accommodated at this fine hotel. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay at this establishment was a most pleasant and memorable experience. The room & services were of a superior quality to any other hotel that we had stayed at during our holiday. The views... More

We have enjoyed staying in the hotel for several years now. We have experienced both The Villa Romita (which is on up from the hotel) and the hotel itself, both excellent, but the villa offers a more quieter location which we love. It is nestled among pretty lemon trees and olive groves and shrubbery and is a short walk from... More

Have just returned from our 4th stay at this hotel. This time we returned with our 4 children and 2 of their girlfriends, the boys are aged 23, 21 and 19, and our 15 year old daughter. We have raved about this hotel and the staff for the past 3 years, that all decided that they had to see it.... More

Ask for assistance on times of local transit (shuttles, buses and trains (metro) to secure a manageable day (time frame). Ask other tourist for ideas/advice in advance.."better than guide books!" Ask for approx. pricing of 'sights' to see. Bring water/sun hat/ and small pack with some 'extras' . Bring a smile, patience and a camera!

A great holiday at Hermitage started with a warm and personal Wellcome. The cute and competent staff provided us 14 days with perfect tips where to wine and dine, when to avoid traffic jam, how to rent a rubber boat. It was always a pleasure to have a small talk (fluently english, french, german, ...) with the reception staff (specially... More
