This review is really really late- September of 2015. For that, I have to apologize to Maurizio Cusmano. He was an excellent host, and really made the ending of our long trip through Europe very relaxing and wonderful. What a gracious host, and wonderful place! The hotel, pool, olive grove, vineyard and wine were simply outstanding. We really enjoyed our...

This is a beautiful place to stay. Maurizio and Guilia are very welcoming and helpful and go above and beyond to help their guests. We stayed in a room with the most amazing terrace with panoramic views - unbelievable. So glad we upgraded to a deluxe room. Breakfast was great with a general buffet of breakfast foods but supplemented with...

The host makes this place, he is involved and cares about your visit his COUNTRY. He plans your trip when you tell him where you are going. Breakfast is served fresh to order. The grounds are fabulous, great pool and a tennis court. The rooms are spacious and characterful, extra lighting would be good. the views are amazing.

We had a great time here -- my only regret was that it was for only one night! The views are spectacular, and the room had a great, comfy bed. Guilia was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us a great local restaurant recommendation. We had to leave early the next morning for the airport, and Guilia kindly arranged to...

My wife and I stayed at Tenuta Cusmano in October 2016. We were after a bed and breakfast type place outside of Rome and we were really happy with our choice. It is a 9 room B&B in an old but well kept Roman Villa about 1hrs drive from Rome and 35minutes from the main airport. We were greeted by...

My husband and I stayed here for only two nights after a cruise out of Civitavecchia and a flight from Fiumicino. It was the perfect respite after seven hectic days. I had not checked my email and missed the detailed directions and Maurizio and Giulia had sent but we found it no problem and our room was ready when we...

Hi.. Access to Tenuta Cusmano is easy from any part in Italy since it's a short drive from the GRA (Autostrada) in Rome, and the GRA connects to main highway to Fiucimino Airport. Although Tenuta Cusmano is about 45mins from Fiucimino Airport, allow an additionnal hour for traffic to airport. I recommend you touch base with Maurizio at Tenuta Cusmano relative to Airport Shuttle from Grottaferrata area to Fiucimino, as well as transportation to & from Tenuta Cusmano to that nearest Shuttle Service Station; he will happy to assist! I travelled by car to that villa on 3 occasions last year, and also drove to the airport to drop off the car. Being familiar with the surroundings relative to Fiucimino I personally would see no issues getting to the Airport by shuttle.. but I would add an extra hour travel time to the shuttle's estimate.. Hope this helps.. CGR

Hi June, If you are driving from Villa Palazzola, Sicily, it's about 10 hours or 909 kms according to Google directions. It is beautiful - get the apartment if possible.
