Very cute! Friendly staff
Large room! Clean! Hot! Comfortable mattress! pillows a little soft
Fabulous spa! Great! Clean
If you want you can book massages
We ate well
Breakfast with lots of choice both sweet and savory
A tip in the bathroom put some towel rails! If you don't want to pierce the tiles there are those from the ground! And in the starter empire cured meats and cheeses put the cheese on it considering what it costs
Cmq recommend it! If you want to have a relaxing weekend
Attacked in Como

We made a stop there before heading to Cinque Terre. This hotel is to be recommended: warm welcome, very nice large room and varied and generous breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel. The restaurant was full but that did not prevent very good service. Our pizzas were delicious as well as the “frizzante” wine.

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate a friend's birthday. We took advantage of the small and nice spa and the restaurant where we ate well. The breakfast was excellent. Applause to the staff, from the maids to the cleaning ladies.

A weekend dedicated to us without rushing after duties except to arrive on time for breakfast. Spa small, basic but cared for and not crowded. Customer care at the top. I would have stayed more than 2 nights... Very close to the Swiss border...

Finally a restaurant that offers dishes that are on its menu. Very pleasant terrace, with efficient staff, a beautiful menu. We had a great time in the shade.
Very good meal, especially the Milanese risotto which is fantastic

Positive experience of one night only. Good sleep quality, very useful private parking. I also read about a nice restaurant pizzeria inside very useful for those in a hurry.
Spacious and clean room. The structure in general is not brand new.
Convenient location also to reach the Swiss Canton Ticino.

Review on the spa
We took advantage of the package "Spa mom and daughter"
Very nice SPA, relaxing atmosphere full of experiences to try, very kind staff, finally a wellness center that welcomes children (obviously on certain days and times) my daughter was delighted!
We will definitely return

Staff are really helpfull & very kind. In the restaurant all dishes were perfect and the Spa is peacefully and relaxing.
Only one negative thing in this establishment that there aren’t any airconditioner in any part of it.

The place is barely 1 km form the Swiss border. The owners are very nice, though they do not speak English, they managed well.
The rooms are old Italian style and comfortable. My room had a balcony which had a decent view of the Swiss alps.

My first remark is that this is a great hotel to stop at on the way to somewhere else. Clean, relatively new and excellent value. Fixtures and fittings, etc, match its star class. So, definitely recommended for travellers.
However, the first big 'but' is that the "free wifi" doesn't work - at least none of our 5 Apple devices would connect to it. Not in the restaurant, not in our room. I'm writing this review using a wifi connection that belongs to some other establishment and is only available at the back of the hotel. Worse, 3G / Phone signal reception here is very poor. So, yeah, we had an evening free of the internet, which is not a bad thing unless you need to do something (as we did).
Even for a budget hotel the breakfast was disappointing. As a family we're currently on a healthy eating regime which was fully supported by the poor selection of cheap foods at the breakfast buffet. Finally, though the staff are friendly, I guess they should send someone to hotel school as there are all sorts of minor improvements that they could make which would cost nothing and would improve the experience.
To end on a positive note, the evening meal we had was excellent - perfect pizzas. Plus, I asked the waiter to serve us a local wine that he would recommend and what turned up was superb.
I would definitely use this hotel again as a travel stop.
