Aia Vecchia was excellent place for big family as we are, 4 children from 9 to 18 years. Apartments have big rooms, clean and nice as the surrounding gardens too. Kitchen is well equipped. Pool is big enough and thermal bath interesting experience. Sun deck has view to nice Tuscany country side and is sunny from morning to late afternoon...

2 x to Italy, 2 x staying with Chiara at her farm. You definitely feel you're in Tuscany with the beautiful views from your room. Accommodations are spacious and there is a large well equipped common area/family room. Truly a family run establishment, quiet and rustic, just outside the village of Asciano which has restaurants and a market. Montalcino, Montepulciano,...

Owner Chiara is extremely warm and welcoming and has transformed the age old farmhouse and outbuildings into five wonderful, fully fitted appartments. In addition to to a big swimming pool with thermal baths fed...

In April 2011 we got married in Siena and searched for a location to spend a week of holiday with close friends and family. How lucky we are to have found Aia Vecchia! In two words; just perfect! Stuck in Asciano late saturday night, GPS being very unhelpful. We called Chiara, who immediately said: " Stay there and I will come in my car and get you". This is a very good picture of the incredibly helpful and kind hosts you will find at Aia Vecchia di Montalceto. During our stay our hosts went out of their way...
