Gorgeous scenery in a tranquil environment. Just came from Venice and Florence for some peace and quiet. Only a couple minutes to Pienza a small quaint town this is heaven on earth. The drive in was spectacular with rolling hills as far as the eye can see. This agriturismo is beautiful. Friendly owners and beautiful rooms. Can't do any better...

We stayed 3 nights in La Torre and enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment is fully equipped, wonderful A/C and generous breakfast served in the patio. The owner is very knowledgeable about the region, so we visited around and rested at the lovely pool in the afternoon. Great combination! I would certainly return to this quiet, beautiful place.

Beautiful, Immaculate property inside and out! We stayed in a 650 SF apartment (including a fireplace, complimentary bottle of wine, and great views)! The owner's Italian Mama made a homemade breakfast every morning that was incredible! Also the owner was very informative of the history of the area and the villa! Highly recommend this property!

We booked this accommodation thinking of the nice photos you find on internet showing Tuscany landscape and dreaming to be part of it. It showed we made the perfect choice! The building is situated on a local road SP 71 on which we drove last km coming from Siena trough a typical Tuscan landscape of hills, farms and chipres. The...

We enjoyed everything at Agriturismo Il Macchione. Francesco and family are very kind, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are wonderful and the home made cakes and panna cotta were enjoyed by everybody. The property was very clean and beautifully maintained with a wonderful infinity swimming pool, pretty gardens and stunning views of the...

Very good breakfast, fantastic place, the rooms are excellent. The only inconvenience was that they did not allow us to have a late check out even though we were the only guests. Close to the city, but you need a car, cannot walk.

The place is clean, well organized, nice breakfast and a family runs their own business. Everything was perfect. Apartaments with a lot of space and full equiped. Parking lot available. The biggest difference is how they receive the visitors. We are treated more than customers, we are treated as a friend. Geographically makes total sense, you will be surrounded for...

When we arrived at the place, no one was there. The owner was out to make olive oil in a nearby factory, we later learned over the telephone. The common place was open 24 hours with coffee, TV, and the internet connection. The room was adequate. The breakfast table was huge with all kinds of breads for the two of...

I always wanted to stay at an authentic Tuscany house on a hill which has cypress trees walls at the driveway. This place was THE place to me. We stayed two nights in a one-bedroom unit on the first floor in February. The place was warm (important for us), living room was spacey with fully equipped kitchen and a dining...

It is like a suite. It has a kitchen, has many cooking utensils. Wine, olive oil and some other seasonings are available in the kitchen. Bedroom is large. very suitable for a family stay. The Agriturismo is located in a beautiful location. Outside is decorated nicely, pool, lawn, landscaping is fantastic.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dating to XVIIIth century and close to nearby Pienza, amidst the view of the Val d'Orcia, a pleasant and panoramic area, lies the ancient stone farmhouse of Podere "Il Macchione". Completely rebuilt with great respect for the original design, the farmhouse has been subdivided into four lodgings and a common room.
