Amazing place, close to Pienza and San Quirico d'Orcia. One word: amazing. First the towns. Pienza is a very nice little touristic town, 3 minute drive, but we liked San Quirico even better. And take some time to enjoy the short drive to san q because it is one of the most beautifull roads in Tuscany. We stayed at la... More

We spent a week at La Fonte with our 4 year old, 10 month old baby and a friend who joined us for a few days. We stayed in the La Caciailola apartment (2 beds) that worked perfectly for us. Katia provided a baby crib and high chair for our use while we were there. Kitchen is well outfitted (including... More

My husband and I stumbled upon the restaurant at La Fonte while visiting Pienza, and it was without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip. The food was some of the best we had (my husband had a wild boar ragu, delicious!), for the most amazing prices. We ate outside, and the sunset views alone are worth a... More

Agriturismo La Fonte is a perfect place for a base to explore the Val d'Orcia! Katia and her family are wonderful hosts and very, very helpful. Our room was quite and comfortable, and the food was well-prepared and delicious. Sunsets at the inn are GORGEOUS! For our stay, we could not have found a better place, and was one of... More

We stayed here in September and had a wonderful time. The GPS took us right there with no problems. The apartment was very large and had a nice bathroom and kitchen. It is very quiet there so we slept great! We ate at the restaurant one night and it was excellent (highly recommend the steak Florentine and the cheese pici... More

We visited this Agriturusmo on the way back from Pienza because all the restaurants in the city were full! We were very happy with the last minute decision, friendly welcome, genuine service and good food. We shared a Crostone with lardo e pecorino and then both of us choosed the local Pici with ragu bianco di Chianina. Dessert, torta di... More

Each year a visiting cousin and I pick out a corner of Italy to explore and this year's choice was the magnificent Val d'Orcia.
