Stays there three night. Location was great in downtown and I had the best view over the valley. Rooms a big and bed is comfortable. The breakfast was good but you had to walk in a different room (80 feet) to get your coffee and your food. The staff was not very helpful or friendly and their English is very...

After spending 20 years coming to Pienza on daytrips and gazing longingly over the "balcony" of the steep bluff into the Val D'Orcia, we decided to treat ourselves to a night here so we could even longer gazing over the incredible view. Relais Il Chiostro was indeed a treat: A beautiful hotel right in the center of the old renaissance...

We had an upgraded room on the first floor of this former cloister with an attached church where nuns once resided. The views are fantastic. There is a very nice terrace and garden area at the rear where you can eat outside for breakfast. Service from the front desk was very good. Free parking if you have a car with...

Fantastic location in the middle of Pienza, but still very quiet which meals good sleep. Beautiful and spacious room and bath, good breakfast, the friendliest staff, a good restaurant, a large garden with breathtaking view.... I couldn't think of a better place to stay.

We are excited to come in the front gates of Pienza, knowing the reception of warmth and enthusiasm we always have from this old convent, now elegant hotel. The view over the valley is breathtaking. Coupled with it is an inside or outside breakfast fit for kings. Dinners are equally elegant and faultless both in dining excellence and in service....

We went there for a wedding. It was an open buffet/coctail style wedding at the garden of the hotel. The garden is very nice, the food served was delicious. Its is located right in the heart of Pienza

Accommodation was adequate but the location on the square made up for any deficiencies. Staff need training in friendliness and customer service (reception guy being the exception - we requested a room with a bath and he was able to accommodate us) Restaurant was closed with no explanation.Breakfast was a little sad. Garden terrace needs a little upgrading and doesn't...

It's hard to give any hotel 5 stars after perfection at UNA hotel in Rome but this was very close. Wonderfully helpful staff, very nice breakfast (ignoring some molding fruit which I can't wrap my brain around the staff serving). Gorgeous, gorgeous view from the outdoor dining area. Our room was basic but spacious. Limited but nevertheless nice view of...

Overall a pretty good hotel. Staff were helpful, a reasonable European breakfast. The hotel grounds are nice with great views of the surrounding hills. Being an old convent, the floors are tiled and people rolling their luggage down the hallway can create a lot of noise. Same with the doors closing - the latches on the doors are quite loud....
