A fantastic small agriturismo with only 5 rooms in a renovated farmhouse. It is modern with all the authentic details still preserved, exquisite! The owner and staff is very service minded, speaks good English and goes beyond making the stay superb.. The area is extremely relaxing and full of nice places to see, for example the village of Narni. Casale Valigi is strongly recommended!

We stayed at Casale Valigi for two weeks and they were absolutely amazing. The place and swimming pool are perfect and well maintained. If, like me, you weren’t sure about a salt water swimming pool, no worries - it’s great. Francesco, the owner, is a great host. He is an extremely kind person, as well as very helpful. He shared great places to go (Labro, photo, for example) as well as to eat. The lunches and dinners he cooked himself were also delicious by the way. The breakfasts here were the best we have had in a hotel (fresh fruits, pastries, meats, yoghurt, great coffee...). The room (Pietra) was meticulously clean, with a great bed (makes or brakes a room for us) and great air conditioning.

Casale Valigi is a hidden gem in Umbria. If you are looking for quietness, hospitality with a capital H, great Italian food and wines (prepared by the host Francesco, who is an excellent cook!) in a great atmosphere, don't look any further. We have spent 1,5 week at Casale Valigi, and we will definitely go back. Francesco and his family and staff have made our stay one to remember. Lying in the countryside close to Narni, in the Umbian hills, Casale Valigi gives you a stunning view. Some barking dogs and lots of singing birds are the only sounds you hear, while enjoying a good glass of prosecco, wine or else in the garden or at the swimming pool. Speaking of the swimming pool: where some descriptions mention 'salt water', please note that the pool is kept clean by using an ioniser, which hardly gives any salted water. Fransesco has served several lunches and dinners, all prepared with local fresh ingredients. It was e real pleasure to see him enjoying the preparation of our plates, and it was even more joy finishing them. Fresh truffels, ultra fresh mozzarella cheeses and more: every lunch and dinner was a gift.
