An historic building, old renovated stable. So warm and inviting. Our room was up a stone spiral staircase. The view from the bedroom window was a panorama of the Pyrenees and a beautiful vegetable garden, town. Cozy room with wonderful period design. Bathroom had a nice soaking tub (perhaps a splash of bleach on the grout would be a good...

We loved our stay at the Hotel Almut as part of our Hike Pyreneees tour of the area. Maria Rosa is lovely and she runs a wonderful hotel with beautiful antiques in all the rooms. Originally the building was a stable and has been adapted with comfortable guest rooms with en suite baths. This is not an American hotel, but...

The village is in a fabulous location & Maria is quite helpful. However, despite upgrading to a better room we found the room dark & the paint on the walls chipped. Also, the grouting around the bath was stained & the bath very small. The narrow twisting staircase leading to the room would have made it impossible to take all...

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the location and overall ambience of the place was great. Two complaints about the hotel: The rooms were a bit cluttered. Our room was small, and a large trunk and corner washstand and sink took up valuable floor space. We loved the pieces - but would rather have had the...

We stayed at the hotel Almud for 2 nights during our trip around the Pyrinnes. Maria was a wonderful host with lots of info about the area. We did some beautiful walks and enjoyed wandering around the town. Our room was not big but very comfortable and very clean. We upgraded to a room with a big view of the...

Room was great but did not care for the owners at all. If I'm paying to stay at a hotel I dont want to be treated like an unwelcome child. The breakfast was not very good either. Otherwise loved the village & surrounding area.

Stayed here for 2 nights while doing long treks in Pyrenees. Maria could not have been more charming or helpful. She is a gem, and made us feel so welcome at the end of a long day of hiking. Rooms comfortable and hotel's common sitting area is warm and charming. Highly recommend.

We based our walking group at the Hotel Almud for a week and were delighted with our choice. The building is remarkable and intriguing. The interior design is truly beautiful. Maria-Jose is a wonderful hostess and extremely helpful. Our only sadness is that the hotel was not serving dinners whilst we were there - we would have enjoyed dining in...

I spent 2 very pleasant nights in a clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated room with a wonderful view of the lake and village. Mario, as chef, is top-notch; I ate like a queen. I will most definately stay there again, for a much longer time.
