My family of 5 (with school aged children) stayed in a lakeside suite during our recent visit to the Montreux area. The staff was helpful and spoke English well. The suite was roomy and clean with a beautiful view. The location is wonderful. We could easily jump on the bus right outside the hotel to Montreux (free with our Riviera... More

We, a family of 4 (2 children) stayed one night in the Hotel Bristol and it was very good and a good value for the Montreux area. Our room had a sofa bed which the children could use and a separate bedroom for us. There was free wifi and a good breakfast included. The bus stop was right outside so... More

I lived in this hotel during March, 2013. The hotel owns a very good view if you book a lake view room. The hotel rooms are mostly on the first two floors and the rest of the rooms of this building are residential apartments. Therefore hotel guests can only enjoy the lake view in a very low altitude through a... More

This easy to find hotel with pleasant and competent staff was let down by my pleasant, spacious 1st floor room being far too hot with no way of turning it down. It was Sauna like! My colleagues room was the same. There was no way of reducing the temperature other than by opening the windows or doors to the balcony.... More

This was a lovely hotel right on the lake. We didn't have a lake view but we did have a very nice room - the bathroom was huge! The only complaint was that the room had a portable air con machine, which means the door had to be open to the balcony. Our room faced the main road to the... More

I have stayed in this hotel in 2006, however, I believe it has not changed since then, as most of the things in Switzerland. This hotel is targeted at an elderly audience and it will fit anyone who likes to have peaceful and quite stay. The food in the Hotel is excellent, I would recommend tar-tar to the gourmets. It... Situated 10 minutes away from the center of Montreux, this is an unusual hotel because it caters to senior or invalid persons who need special care or medical attention. We were immediately upgraded to a large and confortable suite instead of the regular room we had booked at a reasonnable price for Switzerland (220 Francs). We visited because I have an... More

This does not feel like a hotel. More like a converted hospital. The first thing to greet us as we stepped out of the elevator was a bed frames in the hallway! We booked a Mountain View room but all we could see were buildings and a very busy main road. The only way I can describe the room itself... More
