Hunstanton Camping & Glamping with mYminiBreak offers a secluded spot with easy access to the beach where you can pitch up tents, campervans, caravans, and motorhomes. We also offer Cosy Shepherds Huts and Canvas Bell Tents if you want to go glamping and reconnect with nature in comfort! Why not take a lovely late afternoon trip to the beach while the tide is out and experience the miles of open sea bed stretching as far as the eye can see? Our location is unspoiled by the main Hunstanton resort, as the connecting Heacham beach is perfect for avoiding the holiday crowds and gives you plenty of space to relax and enjoy the seaside while staying with us at Hunstanton Camping & Glamping. Not only is our campsite near Hunstanton, but it is also ideally located to explore the Norfolk Coastline and beyond. Between our site and the beach, you will find the entrance to a public footpath that takes you all the way to Snettisham, a smaller and history-rich village through scenic rural countryside. We are also a dog-friendly accommodation, so you're welcome to bring your dog along for the holiday, safe in the knowledge that there are plenty of activities and facilities for them here! Hunstanton Camping and Glamping is one of only a handful of campsites located on the west coast of Norfolk that is just a 2-minute walk from the beach which puts us in the prime position for watching the sunset go down in all its spectacular deep orange and red glory. Spend time camping and glamping in Hunstanton with friends and family by your own campfire or BBQ, and make superb memories to share with your loved ones forever. Detailed Reviews
We camped for a long weekend early August. Campsite was very expensive compared to most places I’ve stayed, and assume this is due to its popularity and close proximity to the beach.
Pros
Location is fantastic, 5 mins walk from the beach, so lovely for an early morning swim, watching the sunset etc, also do-able to inflate SUPs and carry them/kayaks etc to the beach.
Camping shop (from another site) a few mins walk down the road is useful for buying breakfast bits etc.
Showers had plentiful hot water, and good pressure etc. Not the ‘push’ button style that times out every few seconds like some campsites!
Useful pot washing sinks.
Cons
Facilities are basic. Separate toilet block for women and women was fine, but small number of toilets. There were additional toilets accessed directly from outside, hand washing facilities for these were just a cold water tap on a barrel.
Showers - not many for the number of people on the site, meant queuing in the evening and pretty grotty at the end of this given how many people went through them.
No hot water in ladies toilet block either at points.
Sink washing area also only cold water, and not under cover.
Site was absolutely rammed full. Guy lines over lapping kind of full. Meant even quiet conversations were overheard, snoring campers were overheard by multiple tents nearby!
In all, for a two night break, the location meant the rest was tolerable. If I was there longer how close you were to everyone would have become wearing. Facilities could be fine, if basics like no hot water is sorted - not what I’ve expected for premium price! I assume the number of facilities is sufficient for the number of campers most of the year, but not if it’s crammed full at busy times!

Thank you Catherine for your great review of Hunstanton Camping & Glamping, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us by the beach. Om the Bank Holidays we are at our busiest, any other weekend and we are very much quieter. We have a number of inside and outside showers, plenty of toilets and washing up facilities. We are a back-to-basic campsite in the perfect location just 2 minute walk from the beach. We very much hope that you would visit us again next year, perhaps on a quieter weekend to fully immerse yourself in what we have to offer here on the Norfolk Coast :)

Needed a campsite as we had a family celebration to attend in the village, this was the closest. How much???? We have travelled around the country in our campervan and usually pay between £10 - £20 a night - not here! We weren’t given the option of electricity but we’re told we could charge our phones up if we wanted to use the sockets in the shower block, sorry not leaving my phone unattended thanks.
We had one camper and two tents (6 adults and 3 dogs), Nigel was accommodating and gave us pitches together which was great as the campsite was rammed with campers (bank holiday weekend). With so many people on the site the queues for the TWO showers were long! Gave up the first morning and got a shower early afternoon before our celebration party in the village.
The setting of site is lovely, right next to the beach and enclosed by a bank of grass one side and the marsh the other, oh and a caravan park across the road where other members of our family we’re staying.
We found out that the electricity, if you have booked and paid for it, is only available between 7am and 10pm.
Sorry, we won’t be returning unless the price dramatically drops and more showers and toilets are available.

We had originally booked at the owners other site but due to some issues with that site we were re-located to this one. Slated as their flagship location, this campsite is nestled amongst some nice country side and an huge expansive static caravan holiday park.
We arrived and were promptly greeted and directed to our pitch where we parked up the van and assembled the awning. So far so good.
So as a basic site this is good. But now for the bad bits.
The area we were setup in appeared to have originally been some sort of rocky ground. Normal tent pegs won't cut it. The owners should specify that some of the site will require more heavy duty pegs.
Whilst the toilets and showers were kept spotless, the site appears to be in some sort of construction phase, with the washing up facilities outside and next to a barn which is being worked on. Noisy and, thanks to someone jet washing his plastering, resulted in a spray of plaster and dirt around the cleaning area. Not nice.
There is a camping and caravanning club sign displayed on the info board as you enter the site. Every CCC I've stayed at had indoor washing facilities, yet here we had to fill a bucket with water, which was never hot, and return to the awning to wash in. Fare enough for a 20 quid a night site, but not at this price.
Also, for a site this size, two showers are not sufficient. But there were powerful and always hot.
We did enjoy our stay here but were disappointed at how much it had cost.

Thank you Quinndexter for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us by the beach in Heacham, we are a back to basics campsite in a fantastic location just 3 mins from the beach, although we are surrounded by holiday parks we are not overlooked by them and our campsite looks out onto unbroken views of Norfolk Countryside. We are undergoing some maintenance at present and hope to have this finished soon. We very much hope that you'll vistit again on your next trip to the Norfolk Coast :)

North Norfolk is beautiful, we spent a couple of weeks camping on the coast and only wish that we could have stayed longer! We pitched up here for a few days as it's right by the lovely Heacham Beach and has direct access to the Norfolk Coast Path, this campsite couldn't be better positioned. The facilities on site are basic but very clean and well kept, the campsite is quite and off the road, open to the countryside, with huge skies at night time full of stars. Norfolk blew our socks off, so much to do and see but yet so quiet and laid back. Nigel was a great host making sure all the campers were ok and that noise was kept down in the evening. We could have a campfire on our pitch and wood is for sale, the campsite is also very dog friendly. We could see lot's of work being done to the site and the improvements being made will really make this a stand out place on the Norfolk Coast. We will have a lovely stay here with everything you need close by and really nice campers, i think the slightly higher price stops the riffraff getting in and makes for a great atmosphere onsite. We would return again and stay here on our next tour of Norfolk.

Thank you Becky for your brilliant 5 star review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us while on your road trip of the Norfolk Coast. We do have a great little campsite right by the beach here in Heacham, with so much to do and see locally you could easily spend a week or two right here! With the fab weather we have been having, being right next to the beach is such a bonus, especially with the kids and dogs! We very much look forward to seeing you again soon here with us on the Norfolk Coast

We stayed at Hunstanton Camping and Glamping branch of this group and were booked for two nights. We left after one night because it was so dismal. These guys like to bill themselves as a ‘premium back to basics site in a premium location’, and accordingly, they charge premium prices. It’s a disgrace that prices to stay there are so high. I’ve stayed in many campsites with better facilities that are a quarter of the price.
In reality, it’s a tiny, basic campsite and nothing more. No hot water for washing up, no facilities whatsoever for children (no nearby woodland to play in, no playground and the grass is too uneven for bike riding) and paths underfoot consist of rubble and broken bricks. Generally, the site is pretty untidy and feels like a building site. Yes it’s dog friendly, you can have campfires and it is walking distance to the beach, but it’s also situated in a rather scruffy and down at heel area of north Norfolk. There is a reason other areas of the region are more popular with holiday makers!
Those that run the campsite will object and say it’s a work in progress. Yes it is and that’s fine. But this site is nowhere near worth the prices they charge. I complained and sent this feedback to the management but was swiftly and firmly rejected.
Go elsewhere because you really don’t need to spend upwards of £50 a night on a super basic site. Go to one of the hundreds of other sites that do only charge £20 a night.

With the lovely September sun that we have been having we decided to take a camping trip, was a little chilly at night but was brilliant to be right by the beach in the sun. The campsite is in a perfect location, we love to visit Hunstanton as we were close enough to be able to walk there on the beach. The onsite facilities are great, very clean and lots of toilets and showers. A very basic site but not having kids we really didn't need much, besides a few campervans we had the entre place to ourselves to enjoy a campfire in the evening. Our dog came along too, she loved the sea and the dog wash station was so handy to keep sand out of the tent! We will definitely be coming again, we are close enough to drive up whenever the weather is nice, so lucky really!!

We stayed in the new Glamping Shepherds Hut, the hut itself looks out over the countryside view, it's really lovely and makes you feel as though you're in the middle of nowhere.
Inside the Hut is a very comfy double bed with quality linens, we had a great nights sleep, very quiet all around. Toilets & showers are shared with the campers, these where kept in great condition and always had toilet paper available, you can also charge your phone in them. The breakfast table inside was well decorated and handy as it rained in the morning. All the little details and added extras made this a very comfy and cosy stay. Also this is the only Dog friendly Shepherds Hut we could find, the whole of Norfolk seems to be very dog friendly, especially the beaches and the shops. Outside there was a tripod fire pit with BBQ and some deck chairs to sit out in the evening around a fire enjoying the view.
The beach is a few minutes walk away, and what an amazing beach, i had read the reviews about the Sunset over the sea, it is truly incredible to see for yourself, being on the East Coast of England! Around the area are some nice shops and pubs ad Hunstanton is a short drive away, we were very impressed with our little holiday on the Norfolk Coast and would come back again

Thank you Julie for your brilliant review of our Shepherds Huts here on the Norfolk Coast, our Huts are a great chance to get back to nature without all the fuss of camping, with views out over the marshes and cosy touches inside, they make for a romantic country escape that also has the beach on its door step. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay here with us and hope that you visit again soon :)

Back from a wet and windy stay at Norfolk Coast B&B, Cottages & Camping in Hunstanton, we love this part of Norfolk and visit often as it is just so very dog friendly. The campsite is great for campervans and Nigel allowed us to bring our 2 labs, although the site is small, it is right next to the beach at Heacham where there is miles and miles of sandy beach for the dog to explore. Luckily the campsite has a doggy wash station to clean off sand and mucky paws! In the evening we were able to have a campfire by our van, this was lovely as the rain had finally let up for a few hours!! Such a great place to stay with an ideal location, be sure to check out Hunstanton town too, lots of dog friendly cafes.

My experience here unfortunately was not a good one, first of all the price £350 for a bank holiday weekend stay is hotel money. Really over priced for the very poor standard of the site.
Upon arrival we met with the owner of the site and was shown to our pitches, the entrance to the touring site is extremely tight especially when towing a twin axel tourer. There was wood scattered all over the site and bricks bizarrely to mark out where the caravans and motor homes where to park. The caravans where crammed on the site back to back leaving no space for the children to play. Electrics tripped out twice and we was without power for a night ( owner blamed it on our neighbours motor home)
The whole place was like a building site everything half finished, only two showers on site and they were filthy. Showers would not regulate temperature at all so either got scolded or you was freezing cold. We had two dogs with us and the owner told my wife off because they were not on a lead and he had free range chickens roaming around the site ( not a great idea when you have a site that welcomes dogs 🙄). The make shift road that you drive on to get to your pitch is the cheapest reclaimed rubble you could buy and is full of glass! Yes glass and you can bring your dogs!
We found the owner to be very rude, when we originally booked we reviewed our t’s and c’s and had a few questions. We rang the site and spoke with the owner who was very abrupt, he told us he couldent answer our questions and to email “admin”. We later found out the man we spoke to was not only the owner he was also the admin the receptionist the manager the maintenance man and every other title very strange setup.
All in all I was left feeling very short changed by the whole ordeal, would I return definitely NOT!
