From the moment we arrived the owners could not do any more to ensure our stay was a good one. We stayed in one of the front bedrooms that overlooked a quiet lane, the ensuite had a power shower with lots of hot water. The bedroom was clean and nicely decorated, the attention to detail was impressive, with a flat screen tv and comfortable firm bed ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. A walk to the beach, only 5 minutes away and a walkway overlooking the sea takes you a bracing walk into Hunstanton. We will definately revisit, and maybe stay in The Barn, the Grove's self catering cottage which I must say was as appealling. With Norfolk Lavender just 2 minutes away, Burnahm Market around 20 and Sandringham nearby, a lot more to see and do.

We were given a very warm welcome on our arrival and felt immediately at home. Our room was everything you could wish for and a great deal of care was taken to provide a very special breakfast. The home made cookies in our room were a welcome treat before bedtime.

Tried booking b&b for a long weekend in June 17' however it does not seem to be operation. I think it has actually closed down. Don't know why it is still no. 1 on TripAdvisor ratings. On the up side we managed to to stay in a lovely b&b in the area.

The Grove is a fantastic place for a relaxing break away from it all. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, nothing seams to be to much bother. The rooms are all beautifully decorated, Clean and spacious and the breakfast is second to none. Homemade bread, preserves and even granola are all on the menu.. Lovely place!,

Stayed 3 nights at The Grove while having a short break in Norfolk
What can I say, it's the best B and B I have found stayed in the from the Little Green Book guide so far.
Fantastic perfectly cooked breakfast, you won't need lunch afterwards. The room was really well decorated, Egyptian cotton sheets and a really comfy bed, for a good nights sleep.
Would recommend to any one, short or long stay.
The village has a good range of places to eat nearby, so you don't have to travel far for dinner
Will definitely stay again
Thanks Dave and Elaine

My husband and I have just returned from a short break of 4 nights which we spent based at The Grove.
We can say without hesitation that it's one of the best B & Bs we have ever stayed in.
The breakfast was substantial and freshly cooked - and kept us going all day! The poached and scrambled eggs are worth a mention as it is so difficult to find a place that can properly cook eggs in these ways. They were cooked to perfection.
The room was spacious clean and bright with a very comfortable bed. It was en suite with a proper shower [i.e. not one stuck over the bath].
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
The Grove represents excellent value for money and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We chose The Grove for a last minute weekend break after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Booking was easy following a phone call to Clare with a deposit paid online and full instructions for our arrival and a map provided. On arrival, we were welcomed by lovely hosts Clare & David and shown to our room, which was a twin with separate private bathroom. We were a little unsure about not having ensuite facilities but we ended up really enjoying having our own spacious bathroom with bath, shower and complimentary toiletries and robes a few steps down the corridor. Our bedroom had all amenities and comfortable beds. The tea tray was well stocked and refreshed each day - there was also fresh milk for tea/coffee provided in a thermos flask to keep it cool (and left for guests in a fridge in the dining room). This is a brilliant idea and should be done everywhere!! Breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereals and an amazing cooked breakfast with top quality fresh ingredients followed by homemade bread and homemade marmalade and jam. Clare & David were excellent hosts making us and all the guests feel very welcome and providing a real "home from home" experience. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay - although apologies to Clare & David for delaying them on the final morning as we were chatting away - but they are such good hosts!

Lovely place, perfect condition. Run by a nice couple who do a great breakfast. Our room was decorated in Cath Kitson style paper which my wife loved, the room consisted of 2 decent sized Victorian bedrooms linked together, the second room could be used as either 2nd bed or lounge. There was ensuite shower room within. The whole space was light and airy. Parking was easy on the driveway and it took us just 15mins to walk to South Beach.

The Grove B&B is absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for Claire and David, the owners.
Our bedroom, a king-size with en-suite was perfect in every way. The attention that had been paid to the decor, cleanliness, comfort and wonderful special touches was outstanding. Our room had a beautiful bay window which gave a very light and airy feel. All bed linen was spotlessly clean and white. There were also many floral Cath Kitson style accessories making the room very welcoming, romantic and pretty.
We only stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding. Our breakfast on Sunday once again exceeded all expectations. The cooked breakfast was of outstanding quality and cooked to order, we could have also enjoyed cereals, porridge, toast, fresh fruit and much more.
All public areas were exceptionally well maintained. I could not recommend this B&B highly enough. It has everything covered to the highest standard, if you stay you will not be disappointed and will definitely want to return.
