Just had another lovely meal at The Carnforth Hotel. Don't be put off by the dated decor,step inside and enjoy well home cooked food at very reasonable prices . 2 course Sunday lunch for £8.50.Try the Bakewell tart or Belgium cheesecake. Have drove past the pubs in Carnforth many times on the way to Morecambe. This time we decided to stop off. Handy car park at the side which always has room. Right beside the hotel. We stopped here for lunch after a long drive and once we were seated the lady behind the bar quickly came and took our orders. Looked nice on the outside & had parking available. Very dated inside. The food was ok, chips were not great. Husband had chicken tikki which was a large portion & looked nice. Staff were friendly. Very reasonable prices & they had free wifi.
