Had a lovely time at our cottage. Very vintage and cute. Fantastic scenery and superb hosts. Cottage has everything we needed. Close to aviemore and other local amenities. Had a great time in the Cairngorms too. Would definitely return x

6 of us stayed at Dell Lodge last weekend to celebrate a family birthday in nearby Grantown on Spey. We had a very warm welcome from Donna as Polly and family were away themselves . We loved looking at all the quirky things in the house especially the gong in the kitchen and the record player and vinyls in the...

Just returned from a stay in West Dell, and really cannot recommend it enough. The setting is PERFECT. Next to the forest, with plenty of walks right on the doorstep. Wonderful grounds lit by lanterns, a zip wire, a fire pit, swings, hammocks in the trees. Absolutely amazing. The accommodation itself was well equipped, 6 adults stayed comfortably and we...

First time we've stayed here but certainly won't be the last. We stayed in East Dell and while smaller than it might look in the photographs it was a fantastic place to stay. All rooms were beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable. Polly was on hand to greet us and show us what was where. Little touches like chocolate...

This was our third time staying at the Dell of Abernethy. The cottage, (we stayed in Little Dell), was perfect; welcoming, well-equipped with everything you'd need, and with a real cosy character. Sitting outside we were able to watch the resident red squirrels and spotted loads of wildlife in the woods around the Dell, including deer. The location is also...

We had a family gathering here for my dad's 80th. The accommodation was just perfect. We had 26 friends and family using the various cottages and the lodge. It was clean and extremely comfortable and everyone loved the beautiful shabby chic style. The bathrooms in the lodge were amazing. For self catering the Lodge and cottages are extremely well stocked...

My husband and I and our baby boy have just got back from a wonderful 4 nights stay at The Dell of Abernethy (Near Dell). We are growing incredibly fond of this idyllic, magical place- Polly, Ross and their boys have created a very special getaway destination in a stunning corner of Scotland. Near Dell is advertised as the budget...

we have been at the dell several times, the experience is always so great we keep coming back for more. the houses, the hosts, the environment, the detail, the nature, make it a perfect stay, for us, a family of four, and friends. we know there are other beautiful places in Scotland we should visit, and we will, but meanwhile......

I am utterly shocked to see there are any reviews that are less than excellent - and I don't say that lightly, I'm usually known for being quite typically British and finding fault in everything! We stayed in Near Dell in 2014 with some extended family, it was small but cozy and never felt *too* small. When we arrived there...
