Place looked decent. Good food. Friendly helpful staff. Even the bugs in our room wanted to be friendly. Got woke by them actually. Crawling on us. Packed up. Got our refund. Never again!!!

Stayed here for a couple of nights with some work colleagues while on business in the area. Hotel has an old feel, and is in need of some updating in my opinion. That said, my room was clean which is one of the most important things for me, albeit dated. The shower was good and wi-fi fine! The bar area...

Reviews of Bear's Den were very positive, and I do think the restaurant is good. My meal was not very good though, and I felt heavy and uncomfortable for the rest of the evening. I ordered the fish and chips and I think it was far too greasy for me. I did tell the waitress to give me a half...

We stopped for a very pleasant lunch on a road trip to Timmins ON. The food was fresh and delicious. Lots of it too. It seemd to be a popular place with many diners coming and going. Service was friendly.

This was an experience to say the least. We stayed two nights reserving ahead by phone. If you've never been there it will be interesting. Your confirmation is the room number they give you. We did not even present a credit card until check out. The desk staff were great and very friendly. The rooms are basic with limited amenities....

We had not made reservations so stopped to see if a room was available for the night. There was although they did not have a room with a king-bed--something we prefer as we are both very tall. The queen-bed was OK and we got a good night's sleep. There is free WiFi and the code is taped to the mirror...

My wife and I went there tonight for supper, she is gluten intolerant as well as egg and dairy. This is the first time we (she) has ever been treated as if we (she) wasn't worth the time to make sure she had a nice meal. The waitress informed us that the chef (cook)was to busy to check out if...

We booked our room over the phone without having to leave our credit card information or last name. I was a little considered about what we were getting into but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We needed somewhere to stay to break up our long drive to Montreal. The hotel was quiet in the evening and we had...

The furnishings are a little dated but, the room was very clean and comfortable. Quite nice! The check-in/out service was a little slow because the restaurant waitress also seems to be the motel clerk so she's kind of busy. Very friendly and efficient when she gets the chance to serve you, though. The Bear's Den is much nicer than the other...
