This hotel has the most breathing view of the ocean......its just to die for. The hotel architect has a nice concept of a ship. Its generally clean, not very accessible to much attractions or shopping.....you have to drive out of the area to them. Very accessible to 2 private beaches and public beach also. Staff was nice, generally good service...most... More

I spent 1 night in this hotel (145 Euros including breakfast), and was NOT impressed. The rooms are relatively clean but run-down and outdated. the bathrooms need refurbishing. The view from the balcony was onto the back of the hotel next door. The wifi wasn't working. Breakfast was average. I felt ripped off. There are better hotels in the area... More

This would be a nice hotel if the proprietors were honest and notified patrons that the beachfront cafe was not open because it is STILL being renovated. Also, the bar does not open until 5PM. See the previous review by Robert O for the full scoop. We loved the location and Guadeloupe itself.

Lacking reviews in English, those in French prior to stay did help prepare me a bit. Our stay revealed: pleasant staff, even when giving us key to an already occupied room, or serving at a pricey, old buffet dinner because late flight arrival didn't allow exploring surroundings for any other eateries. Our room in the Clipper was kept clean &... More

We have just returned( 2/10/2016) from The Karibea Beach Resort and felt it was of the utmost importance to warn travelers that what the hotel promises is NOT fully truthful! The hotel has been undergoing renovations since 5/2015 and we were not confident our accommodations would be as stated so we called the hotel prior to the January 29th deadline... More

Adequate hotel for the monies, with a buffet breakfast. The hotel will be closing for renovations and has issues with the security consistency. We observed 'homeless' person roaming the hotel at breakfast time. Service and grounds otherwise good and all staff is bi-lingual.

Terrible. First the decor is dated and there is no attempt to make the room beautiful or appealing. Although one can accept this, one cannot accept no water at a hotel! There is a water strike in Guadeloupe and the hotel staff would make you think that it is something new that will be sorted out the next day. But... More
