Anyone looking for a great experience in Puerto Rico should absolutely swing by Barefoot. Both Keishya and Bob are tremendous people with a wealth of knowledge about the island; their recommended destinations are unknown to tourists and exemplify the beauty of Puerto Rico. Furthermore, the living accommodations are terrific; at Barefoot you can expect a clean, full kitchen and an...

After reading the reviews on here about Barefoot, we made our reservations for our first trip to Puerto Rico. We were not disappointed. Booking was easy – online and one or two phone calls. Keishya and Bob were great hosts and possessed a wealth of information. They’re very personable and accommodating. On the first morning, Keishya picked a ripe papaya...

We've been to Barefoot Guesthouse 2 times now, and were already planning our next visit! It's the most fantastic way to see the Island. The owners are great, and they'll assist you in doing just about whatever activity your looking to do while in PR, everything from Hang Gliding, to kayaking! The guesthouse is immaculate and its just a minute...

This is the way to go if you want to get to know the real residential Puerto Rico. Accommodation lies on the border of Humacao/Punto Santiago in a gated community. Guests have access to a large living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with fridge (with ice). Nice swimming pool outside, a private beach is just at the end...

We came to Barefoot after a few days at a mega-resort. What a welcome change! Park (for free) right outside the door, full use of a well-equipped kitchen, and the warm welcome of Keishya and Bob. We felt like family - especially when they invited us to join them for an evening with two German researchers working on nearby Monkey...

I stayed on Barefoot one night on oct/29/2011. I just wanted a place to crash for a night close to the humacao beach without spending a lot because i was going to participate in a triathlon early in the morning. Barefoot is a regular house converted to a guesthouse with 3 rooms to rent. What makes this place special is...

I stopped over at Keishya and Bob's on my way back to London for a short break before a pretty big upcoming challenge to disconnect and gather energies... I must say I had one of the most unforgettable, energy-charging and mind-opening experiences ever, both from the human and the adventure-nurturing perspectives. Keishya and Bob are amazing people, and they totally...

I really REALLY hate to write anything but a positive review. I have thought long and hard about whether I would even write one. I really wanted to like this place and have an awesome experience. I am a very happy go lucky optimistic person. But in the end some things just cant be overlooked. Most of all I feel...

We tend to be more adventurers than "touristas" and wanted to see Puerto Rico away from the touristy areas. From the first interaction with Keishya via email, I knew we would love staying at their guesthouse. On the phone and in her emails she was very pleasant, upbeat, and especially helpful with all my questions. We stayed at Barefoot over...

Keisha was an exceptional host - thorough, friendly, welcoming, informative and lovely. Before we arrived, we received specific directions as well as tips on where to eat and what to see on our way there. We had the pleasure of going on a kayak tour to Caye Santiago or "Monkey Island", which was a day to remember! Being able to...

“The guesthouse is the entire first floor of their home. One master bedroom with a private bath and two single bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All the rooms are comfy, just depends how much privacy you want. It really feels just like you're staying over a friend's place. Warning! Beds are VERY firm. However, I typically sleep on a soft mattress but slept really well regardless.”
