My husband and I stayed at Posada Borravino while on a wine tasting trip to Mendoza. The hotel is very clean. Great design. Really enjoyed the center garden space. The room we stayed in was large. The bathroom was very basic but large. Needs some mild repairs. The bed, bedding, and towels all need to be replaced. Very used. Breakfast...

We stayed at the Posada for 5 nights! I'm so glad we stayed in the countryside and small town/suburb, Chacras de Coria, before spending 2 nights in the gently bustling city of Mendoza. Loved listening to the crickets and seeing the stars out there. Very relaxing. Yes, the Posada is a bit of a walk from the center of town...

Posada Borravino was by far the nicest lodging we had on a 4-week trek through South America. The staff was helpful and accommodating. It's located about 15-20 mins outside of Mendoza in a charming, semi-rural setting with easy access to wineries, fine dining, and shopping. The room was rustic, yet modern, and very clean. The breakfast was good, and the...

We had a great time at the Posada, the place is really peaceful. Front desk staff helped a lot on our reservations for restaurants, trips, transportation, they solved everything for us. We took an amazing wine tour on a private car arranged by them, all the way to Salentein in the Uco valley, were we had lunch. We also visited...

Charming posada in the wine country. The staff is welcoming and very pleasant. They helped us with restaurant recommendations and wine tours. The breakfast was great: breads, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereals, te, tortitas and mediaslunas (croissant)!! Our room had air conditioner, TV and WIFI (I think every room has). An excellent place to stay!!

Good value for the price but in a complicated location. Getting to restaurants is a hassle as you need to walk for 20-30 thru dark roads (Mendocinos drive crazy which doesn't help). Staff is friendly but they don't speak english and don't give recommendations. Breakfast is pretty average. Don't stay here unless you have a car to move around.

We were booked to stay 5 nights at the inn, but ultimately chose to stay 3 nights. Several comments regarding the Posado Borravino are in order. First, it was clean and generally a pleasing place to stay. The pool was not clean however and was not inviting. Breakfast, while adequate, was not on a par with other places we stayed,...

I've been travelling through Argentina by rental car. I recommend you all visit Chacras de Coria, Mendoza, Argentina. I googled a lot and booked 3 nights at Posada Borravino because it had better prices compared with the other hotels in the area. The choice I made was really good. The service and the food were excellent. The surroundings are delightful....

“The Malbec Room is lovely and opens onto the terrace.”

“The Malbec room seems to be the largest and best.”

“We stayed in the Bonarda room - behind the kitchen at the back of the dining area. We were given the choice of which room we wanted because the posada was more or less empty when we arrived. We opted for Bonarda because it was the most private option with a large window onto the back courtyard, but the Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec rooms open onto the breakfast patio/pool area if that is more your style (we preferred the privacy).”
