A very comfortable stay and perfectly positioned to tour the garden festival. The breakfasts were wholesome, eggs from their own chooks & the french bread was simply divine :-) The hosts Judith & Wayne were very friendly & helpful making suggestions that aided our stay immensley. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and provide all that you need....

We stayed here one night while exploring Taranaki. Gorgeous house and grounds and breakfast was very generous. Our room was very nice and we had an excellent sleep. The hosts are friendly and helpful and were happy to share the history of the house with us.

Thank you Hathaway House for a wonderful stay. A gorgeous home built in 1896, made to feel very welcoming. Lovely breakfast, comfy bed and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended. Home-made baking on arrival was a nice touch. Thank you.

We stayed at this delightful B&B in May of 2014 and received wonderful hospitality in this lovely 1898 home. Our room was clean, spacious and beautifully furnished as was the dining area. The breakfast of eggs benedict was delicious, helped by the freshness of eggs from their resident chickens. We have no hesitation in recommending this outstanding B&B. You will...

“The front rooms are ensuite but face the road, so may be noisy for some people who are not used to road traffic. We used earplugs & were fine. The back rooms are much quieter but don't have an ensuite. The claw foot bath is in the communual bath area, not that we used it, as went to the fabulous spa in New Plymouth”
