My partner and I spent two nights at Highbullen as part of a Travelzoo deal which included dinner on one night, golf and use of the tennis court. As the hotel was quiet we were upgraded free of charge to the Neil room which was on the first floor of the main Manor House with amazing views out of the...

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year. Lovely setting and views. We ate in the Devon View restaurant on the first night and the food was amazing. Breakfast was also very good. We ate in the Cellar on the following evening and the food was equally good. We had a room in The Courtyard which was clean and welcoming. The...

A lovely and relaxing break for New Years Eve! We took advantage of the new Year package which included a fabulous Gala dinner on the 31st. The food, music and service were excellent, with plenty of champagne on arrival! As always the room was superb, we stayed in the sportsman lodge which was a cosy cottage in the grounds.

Friends got married here and we stayed over on the night of the wedding. We had a great room in the main house on the second floor, lots of space, enormous bathroom and very comfortable. ideal that the function area is away from the main house as it contains the noise, we did have to get the bar opened again...

We had a room at the top of the main house so up 2 flights of stairs. Very comfortable bed and good view but the room must not have been used for a bit as the water in the bath ran brown for ages and was not hot. But there was a bath & A SHOWER WHICH WAS NICE. We...

We have just stayed for 2 nights and loved it. We were in one of the rooms in the main building (Chinoiserie) and it was wonderful. A magnificent room with huge 4 poster bed, settee and entrance room. The whole hotel was very comfortable, We ate from the Cellars menu, in the Exmoor dining room (due to few guests) so...

We stayed in the main building of the hotel which is absolutely beautiful. The room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It was decorated in keeping with the hotel and was well maintained. Although grand the hotel has a very relaxed feel and we felt 'at home' as soon as we arrived. The staff are friendly and generally The standard...

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic clean rooms and more importantly the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed over night after a wedding and the receptionist Susan was unbelievable in sorting our transport requests and went over and above what you would expect. They also allowed us to check in early as the room was ready . Both the bar and...

Dear ch832 Thank you for your recent review; I was delighted to note your comments regarding the hotel, food, staff and location, but note your comments regarding the Sir Laurance Olivier room. I have checked the room and was able to open the bedroom windows, so there may have been a temporary problem with them during your stay. I do...

We found this place when booking through great little breaks online. We got a great deal with dinner and breakfast included, tickets for RHS garden rosemoor and a bottle of prosecco in our room on arrival. It should be noted that the road to get to this place is 1 car width wide - if you come across an oncoming...
