Detailed Reviews
This is a small and very friendly RV park at a reasonable price. Campsites are nice and level. The restrooms and showers are clean. It is located near a salmon counting station on the river which provides an attraction to visit.

Nice park with everything we needed. Park managers were very helpful and created a really nice atmosphere. Laundry was clean. Showers were clean. Nice gazebo out on the lawn and yes, lawn for the tent. Only issue was the internet not working.

This is an average park, however, it's under new ownership and he has some good ideas for improvements. We had a single night stay. Our site had W/E/S but no cable and the wifi was very weak. There were a number of dogs roaming the property that belonged to the residence behind the park (they train sled dogs) and we were visited by a black bear while exercise our dog in the tent area. We visited the bathrooms and opted not to use them. Reason being they didn't offer much privacy; the two showers have a 3/4 wooden door to the dressing area, but no shower curtain etc. for when you actually use the shower. What this means is, when someone comes in, they can see straight through to the showers and whomever is showering to just below shoulder level on an average person. In the men's there were two showers, a single toilet and single urinal and two sinks. The 20amp area looked freshly mowed but our area needed to be mowed.
The new owner had cut down some trees - but he left stumps about 12-18 inches high at the entrance of most sites. If you are backing in, these are very difficult to see and you must use a ground guide.
If the bathrooms were updated - just add a shower curtain, remove the stumps, and strengthen the wifi this would be a really nice park.

We found this campsite just by chance as it was getting dark and the owner/manager could not have been more nice and accommodating. They are fully dog friendly and we certainly enjoyed their warm welcome and hospitality. The campground is naturally beautiful and while we only stayed a single night, they had all the amenities you would expect at an RV campsite and at a very reasonable rate. We highly recommend it.

This RV park has a lot of potential. The host was helpful and expressed a love for the area and building a great RV park. The bathrooms were clean but had a musty odour. The showers were not very inviting because of this. The grounds were tidy and new flowers gardens had been added to make the place look nicer. It was across the street from a noisy sawmill and at the end of a street with a lot of derelict buildings.

We stayed here on our trip back to the lower 48 from Alaska. Found this little park by reading the signs in the way in since there was no cell service coming down from Watson Lake. Quiet little park with great amenities. Manager was friendly and helpful. We recommend this little park. It was decorated so cute.

Best campgrounds to stay at. Location is great - just a few kilometres before you turn to Prince Rupert or Prince George.
The owners were very accommodating and gave us all the things to do in the area. Even walked to the fish ladder and encountered a no not a bear - a conservation officer which was very educational.
The campground is spotless and well maintained. The night was quiet as it’s a short distance from the main highway. Lots are big and easy to get into. The campground is treed and yet we were able to connect with our shaw dish, had cell service and also the camp wifi.
The owners really made our camping experience great and we plan to go back to experience the many things we left undone - fishing to be one of them.

We were charged $45 plus tax for the night. There was no Wi-Fi available (owner said that they had used up their bandwith). The pull thru's had wide pine trees on each side of the site and the road out was extremely tight. We had to unhook our car and back out. In summary, this is the most we have paid on our trip from Prince George to Prince Rupert. The value for what was provided was not there.
