This is what they advertise and we concur. My husband and I stayed here 4 nights and loved the breakfasts. A table loaded with fresh breads (several homemade), jams and jellies (also homemade), meats, cheeses, veges (some from their garden), juice, coffee, tea pickled herring, etc. and that's just the normal items....then there is yogurt, fresh fruit, museli (also homemade), some cereals, etc. Then...you can order waffles or pancakes, eggs any which way and if you are really special...perhaps eggs benedict. Dave and Barbara are a hoot and we really enjoyed our conversations with both of them. They are full of knowledge on hiking, restaurants, etc. as well as other events happening in the area. We stayed in the king bedroom which is on the main floor, which has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Very quiet spot as they are almost at the end of a road. Now you will hear sounds from upstairs if there are other guests on the second floor but it did not bother us as quiets down by the time we were ready for sleep. The owners do have dogs (which are really wonderful). We felt very at home here and were sad to leave.

Stayed for 1 night August long weekend as a family of 4. The house is spotless, everything is perfectly clean and tidy. Barbara and Dave were very helpful to get oriented and recommending attractions, restaurants, trails. Breakfast was delish with an excellent variety of things you cannot get everywhere: home made bread, home made jam, home made muesli, local deli...Puppies were a great entertainment for children. Thank you Barb for letting them play!

Very nice home with modern and spotless rooms. Barbara and Dave are very warm and affable folks. Don't let Dave's biker persona intimidate. He's a big gentle guy with a dry, wiseguy wit. Barbara is a smart multi-lingual woman who has lead an enviable independent and interesting life (and she's still young!) Very laid back home on quiet dead end lane. We made ourselves comfortable on their deck with a bottle of wine. It felt like home but cleaner. Dave took the time to tell us where to go and where to eat on the Bruce. Maps and brochures are provided too. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Took a nice hot tub soak one night also. Really nice place run by great people. Stay here!

My brother and I were visiting family and stayed with Doug and Diana for 4 nights. It was an amazing stay. They are so accommodating and thoughtful.

Every day started with home made yogurt, bread/toast, muffins, fruit salad with fresh brewed coffee and your choice of juices. Then you order whatever hot breakfast you would like. Like your eggs poached? No problem! Over easy? Absolutely! Home made Belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream? Coming right up! Bacon with anything and everything :) With 5 rooms and potentially 8 or 10 guests, they still individualize each hot breakfast. I love how they present and introduce breakfast. They go over what is available at the table and describe the home made muffin of the day (and Diana went so far as to not want to duplicate the muffins during our 4 days there - so sweet). Presentation on the plate is awesome.

Rooms are well kept and up-to-date. Fresh flowers. Towels changed daily. Everything was sparkling clean. Alarm clock, fan, reading lights, a little piece of chocolate. Again, no detail is missed. There is a nice sitting area off the main entrance for guests to mingle or watch TV. There is a hot tub but no need for that in August :)

I can't say enough about Diana and Doug. They have created a little piece of heaven, a nice get away from the city, and they are so personable. Easy to talk to and they care about you. So sweet.

And you cannot beat the price; seriously!

What can I add that hasn't already been said below? I've been to Bruce Peninsula twice before and this by far was my favourite trip, thanks to the hospitality and warmth of Diana and Doug at Taylor-Made B&B.

I went as a couple with my boyfriend for his birthday during the July 21 weekend. Taylor-Made is a large, beautiful, clean, and homey B&B. Doug and Diana make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive to when you leave. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests' needs, provide helpful tips on where to go and what to see/do in the area, and prepare the most wholesome and delicious breakfast (not to mention the coffee!) with a large variety (including fruit, yogurt, eggs, homemade bread, cereal, muffins, etc.).

The B&B has a large common room with a selection of tea and coffee, a refrigerator for guests' use, pretty garden at the front and plenty of chairs to sit on the deck, and a backyard with a large hot tub (so nice after a day's worth of hiking). Our room (#5) was a perfect couple's suite with an en-suite bathroom, comfy bed, a fan that was running upon our arrival, and two robes for our use. Our bathroom was cleaned on our first day and towels were replaced with fresh ones. The decor is also something of note - the room had a very romantic, homey feel with plenty of pillows and an extra duvet. We felt like we were at home!

Really a magical weekend at Taylor-Made B&B. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bruce Peninsula. Thank you, Doug and Diana!

While on an Ontario fall vacation in October 2016 we stayed at Taylor-Made B&B for three nights. We chose to stay in Lion’s Head because of its central location on the Bruce Peninsula and the perfect place to make daytrips from, as well as its proximity to the Bruce Trail. Diana and Doug were gracious hosts and the breakfasts were very delicious with lots of choices. “Today’s muffin is…” was a daily surprise! And the homemade bread and jams were so tasty. We stayed in Room #5 on the main floor, a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The shower in the ensuite had a dispenser with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The common room had a Keurig machine and a variety of pods. Doug kindly turned up the heat a notch when we were cold. Diana had suggestions for good hikes and also informed us which restaurants were still open in Lion’s Head after Thanksgiving (the season seems to end with that holiday for many businesses on the Peninsula!). We ate at Rachel's on a Thursday night which is jam night. What a foot-stomping good time that was with local musical talent! Thank you, Diana and Doug, for a great stay and good conversations!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay!

When we saw it from the outside we thought it may be a small place but once you get inside, it's a pretty big space. We stayed in room 4 which was right in front as soon as you enter. The room was spacious enough and the toilet was made as an en-suite. The shower was an enclosed area within the room, it didn't bother us much.

What makes this place great is the breakfast and the hosts. Doug and Diana and wonderful people and they made us feel extremely comfortable. They did their best to answer all our questions (it was out first trip up there) and gave some great recommendations for places to eat at and visit. Our morning breakfast were a great place to interact with the other people staying at the inn and we would end up spending over an hour just chatting with them. Also, Diana has got the be one of the best home cooks I've come across, she makes 3 different kinds of bread fresh, daily! She will ask you what you would like the night before and will have it ready at your preferred time. My husband and I together tried the waffle (topped with strawberry and whip cream), scrambled eggs (with cheese and chives), veggie omelette, sausages, muffins(a different one everyday) and HOMEMADE JAMS!!! The jam was so good that I mentioned to Diana I wished she would sell them and just as we were leaving she hands me a bottle of the strawberry rhubarb jam and two muffins for our journey.

They also recommended some great places to see for our upcoming west-coast trip! We will definitely be back here, and not just for the vistas but also the wonderful hosts. :)

The Bruce is a truly spectacular place to visit, I never thought anything could rival Tofino and Ucluelet, but this is a little piece of heaven!!! Looking forward to your next visit! Doug and Diana

Booked in for a Saturday night and from start to finish - staying at Taylor-Made was a wonderful experience. Doug and Diana are lovely people and exceptional hosts. Their B&B is situated on a quiet road across from some beautiful farm land and is within walking distance to everything in the village of Lion's Head.

Our room (on the lower level) was very well-appointed, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was simply outstanding - the most beautiful omelette, excellent coffee, a bowl of fruit salad loaded with gorgeous, fresh fruit, homemade bread, homemade yogurt, and local jams. When we didn't eat the blueberry muffins, Diana packed them for us for our car ride home. So thoughtful.

Looking forward to returning!
