My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights, mid October.
Upon our arrival, Vicky met us at the car with an umbrella ( a little wet day ) and, offered to help us with our bags, to hurry us out from the rain. A welcoming touch!

The common area, our bathroom and bedroom was impeccably clean and so welcoming.
Snacks in our room and common area, water bottles, beverages, bathrobes and slippers were an added bonus.

The breakfast went beyond my expectations. A 2 course with extra baked goods.

Vicky & Bob were always availble to guide us and answer our questions, regarding the area.

The view was incredible and I was grateful for sunny days. as I ate, read and cuddled up in the egg chair while soaking up the view. Blankets were plentiful and fireside nights always an option. We were certainly blessed by the sunsets and sunrises too. Just what we needed to unwinded and enjoy all what nature has to offer.

I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and highly recommend to all who love to be pampetred...

Thank you Vicky and Bob for all the added touches and for sharing the beauty and tranquility .

We just returned from our second weekend away at On the Cliff B&B; this time a wonderful getaway with my sister and brother-in-law. We were so excited for them to enjoy this amazing place with us!
I’m not sure what I could say that hasn’t been said by the other reviewers. We have stayed at a LOT of B&B’s all over Canada and the US and On the Cliff B&B is #1 in my books!! It has it all! It’s located in a spectacular setting on the edge of a cliff overlooking Georgian Bay, there are breathtaking views from several comfortable outdoor seating areas on the property, the rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, and the hosts, Vicky and Bob are so welcoming, gracious and accommodating. Breakfasts (served on the upper deck when the weather is nice!) were delicious and homemade with locally sourced ingredients. There is a wet bar and fridge in the common area between the two rooms, where you can make coffee or tea any time of the day – or keep the wine chilled! While you may not be hungry for lunch after the 2-course breakfast (well, they say 2 but it's actually 3), you can choose from a number of good local restaurants for dinner out or pick up something to barbecue at the B&B and enjoy dinner with a view!
There are so many things to do in the area, from hiking the Bruce Trail (which is literally steps away from the B&B) to boat cruises, beaches, poking into shops in nearby towns, lighthouse tours, etc. But you’ll want to leave time to relax and enjoy the view and the peace and quiet at the B&B.

My girlfriend and I stayed with Bob & Vicky for 2 nights at their bed & breakfast called On the Cliff. They were very friendly, accommodating and we had a very positive experience over all.
The location of the property is amazing. It has unobstructed views of the lake, almost 180º. It is right on the edge of the cliff and for safety reasons they are only catering to adults.
Vicky was very friendly and she prepped the most delicious breakfasts for the 2 days we stayed. The way she presented the food was really beautiful, with even a fresh flower beside the dish, from her garden. Bob was very sweet to prepare gluten free cookies for me and Vicky also paid attention to my gluten free request and everything she prepared was gluten free.
The bedsheets and linens looked as if they were brand new, so fresh smelling and comfortable.
Our room had a beautiful bathroom, recently renovated with all the amenities you could think of, from a plush bathrobe to a black towel for make up removal.
I highly recommend this property. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Thank you Bob and Vicky for being such gracious hosts.

Vicky and Bob are sensational hosts. If you are looking for a beautiful home with a patio, fire pit and cliff lookout, this is the spot. Every parent/couple who wants to get away from a busy lifestyle to breathe and relax will love on the cliff.

The bedroom is lovely and elegant, and the bathroom is fantastic. Vicky thought of all the little touches. The breakfast blew our breath away - it was different and delicious every day.

The B&B is located only 40 minutes from Tobermory and 25 min from Sauble beach. We went on a private hike with an Indigenous hiking guide that was 15 min away: great location, great people, great food and a wonderful place to rest.

This is an incredible B&B: if you're interested in booking, stop delaying and do so!

My sister and I spent a long-weekend up at On the Cliff to celebrate my birthday. Vicky and Bob, our hosts, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic.

There was great communication before hand with Vicky regarding our dietary preferences and timing about arrival.

When we arrived, Vicky was there to greet us warmly and show us around the B&B. On the Cliff B&B is modern, upgraded, spacious, and the suites are large with spa-like bathrooms!

Each morning, Vicky made us incredible breakfasts: ranging from overnight oats, breakfast burritos, yogurt parfaits, to french toast casserole. All of the food that was served was delicious. To celebrate my birthday, Vicky even treated us to morning mimosas and birthday cake!

The view from the property of Georgian Bay is incredible and very peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit on the property on clear nights (the stars are amazing!).

Apart from the luxurious B&B, the reason why we booked here was because it was steps away from accessing the hiking trails in Lion's Head Provincial Park. Further, there are many other parts of the Bruce Trail near by which are very accessible. Vicky gave us tips for other places we may be interested in exploring, such as beaches not too far away.

I can't say enough fantastic things about our stay. If you want to stay at a luxury, yet secluded B&B, with knowledgeable and friendly hosts, and multiple activities at your fingertips, this is the place for you!

Location, location, location! Amazing property with a zen feel. We stayed in the Garden Suite. The large windows allow you to watch the sunrise over the water. I chose to have my morning coffee outside and we had the option of having breakfast on the upper deck. The breakfast was delicious. The grounds and views were spectacular. We made use of the many seating areas and fire pit in the evenings after our daily hikes. A special note to hikers: trail access to the Bruce Trail and the Lions Head Trails are literally steps away!!! Our hosts Vicky and Bob were present and always available to answer our questions, provide dining recommendations and suggest activities we might enjoy based on our personal interests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at Vicky and Bob's B&B on a recent road trip to the Bruce Peninsula. We have stayed at many B&B's and AirBnB's over the years, and have to say that this ranks about as good as you can get. It's a beautiful location, located on the cliffside just south of Lion's Head, overlooking Barrow Bay. The whole place was built as a B&B, - not like most where the existing building is converted into rooms. This place was designed by an architect specifically for use as a B&B. The room we stayed in was spacious with all the amenities and a super comfy bed. The large common area had comfy furniture, coffee maker, TV, etc. A big plus is the outdoor seating area overlooking the Bay. But it was the hospitality of Vicky and Bob that really made this a special experience. They are warm, welcoming and clearly passionate about their guests and making this a memorable experience. And the breakfasts were amazing. You have a choice of when and where to eat - outside on their deck or inside at the common area dining room. All in all, great place!!

Bob and Vicky are so accommodating, with a dedicated focus on exceeding client expectations, both are easy to talk to and very willing to share experiences ensuring your visits to the surrounding attractions and restaurants are super memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would highly recommend.

This was our second visit to this outstanding bed and breakfast. Vicky and Bob are remarkable hosts, not just providing you with a place to sleep and a breakfast but creating an exceptional experience for each of their guests.

One cannot imagine the amount of time that went into the planning and goes into the daily operation of this superb B&B. Vicky and Bob have thought of every detail that enable you to have an incredible vacation within a few hours of the GTA. The room size, soothing shower, fridge (with frosty beer glasses 😊), kitchen space, use of a barbeque and the variety of comfortable outdoor seating to take in the exceptional views makes this B&B #1 in our experience.

Vicky has extensive knowledge of the area, and she goes out of her way to suggest suitable outings that accommodate one’s needs.

The breakfasts continue to be one of a kind, with new additions that delight the palette. They truly are the no-lunch breakfast. But if you do feel peckish, there are always Bob’s delicious homemade cookies in case you feel the need to a snack after a busy day, while enjoying the relaxing environment and delightful gardens.

Choosing any other accommodations on the Bruce would be missing out on the opportunity to be part of the select group who have been lucky enough to experience On the Cliff.

Easy going, adventure in amounts that fit the mood! :) Seeing you again this year didn't feel like we skipped a beat - thanks again for the delicious pesto and even yummier tomato butter. Gifts from the heart. Until our next visit! Cheers

We spent 2 lovely nights at this beautiful B&B. Vicky and Bob were gracious hosts with wonderful suggestions for activities and restaurants. We relished the peaceful location with a fabulous cliffside view of the water. The 2-course breakfasts were creative, fresh, and delicious! We enjoyed the complimentary 24/7 coffee & tea station along with the homemade melt in your mouth limoncello cookies. The space was very inviting, clean, and filled with thoughtful amenities (fridge, dishes, slippers, etc). I highly recommend them.
