The fully furnished chalets are top notch and very pleasing to the eye. They will have everything there that you need. The internet / wifi can be spotty so don't expect to be connected all the time. The heated pool and games room is a nice way to spend a few hours and a nice touch.

Attended a wedding at this resort, and enjoyed our two day stay. The resort has 20 plus cabins with a main amenities building. The amenities building has a huge deck with patio tables, chairs, and umbrellas, plus a large outdoor barbecue. It has a nice main hall for weddings and other events, plus a nice indoor pool (towels for the pool are provided) , spa, and gym. It also has a game room with a pool table and other games as well as some arcade games for those that enjoy them. It is a nice log building with all modern conveniences. The cabin are very nice inside with room to sleep at least six people (reasonable quality linens and comforters). Our cabin had a main room with a hide a bed couch, a dining room table, a small well equipped kitchen, that has everything you could ask for, down to aluminum foil and a cork screw. We had a nice bathroom with tub and shower, plus a bed room with a queen bed. The cabin also had a loft, with another queen bed. The cabin has satellite TV with a nice size flat screen mounted on the wall. The cabin is a duplex with another cabin attached. There is a large porch that each cabin shared facing a small lake. The cabins are modern, comfortable and would suit a couple or a family looking for a get a way! We only cooked breakfast each morning as we had a catered wedding dinner one night and a pre wedding barbeque on the main building patio the first night! The resort does not have a restaurant currently, but may have in the future. This was a great venue for a wedding but would be a great place to just get away from home! We all enjoyed it and would think of going back. I will also add that they have a nice place to hold a wedding ceremony down by the lake. Pretty and picturesque. The resort staff by the way are friendly, helpful and very attentive and go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable?

This was my third time staying here, once for a wedding and twice for NYE. As long as you go in knowing it’s a rustic spot that people will be doing outdoor actives, it’s great. The cabins are decent, although could really use new beds. If you are planning on cooking a larger meal, I would suggest bringing the kitchen supplies you need, as they can be lacking in that department. Good value if you have a few people in each cabin.

My husband booked a cabin for our family of 4 for my birthday.
We arrived at the cabin at 330 pm and left at 5pm. Here’s why.
The cabin was fine. Aside from being outdated and the cigarette butt filled can that my 1 1/2 year old found. Yuck. The view was lovely as was the walk through the property.
We were all excited about the amenity room. We all wanted to go swimming, enjoy the hot tub and play in the game room. So that’s where we headed. As soon as we opened the doors we could tell something was wrong. It smelled awful. The pool was murky and the floors were dirty. We went downstairs to the hot tub, gym and game room and we were greeted by an even worse smell. Oh and a huge puddle on the ground. We looked up and the ceiling was leaking and full of mold! the hot tub and sauna were dirty. It was absolutely disgusting. I rushed my kids out of there and they both had meltdowns because they wanted to swim. So now we were forced back to the cabin with nothing to do.
My husband called to let them know about this and they suggested a full refund if we wanted to leave. So we did.
Dirty, Outdated, a complete waste of time. We understand now why there are so many cabins listed for sale.

We stayed here for one night recently. The cabin was plenty large enough for four of us, with a double room on the ground floor and two double beds on the mezzanine floor. The bathroom was clean and a good size. The living room/kitchen area was large enough too. A little basic and didn't seem to be as clean as I would expect - there were crumbs or something on the sofa when we arrived. It was a nice quiet location though but of course nothing else nearby ie in walking distance (not that we could find anyway)

First of all - don’t even consider staying here. Don’t be fooled by the nice surroundings. Drive on to Kamloops and find one of the many nice hotels.

You are welcomed by a sour owner and the equally sour smell of cooking food. Once you adjust to the smell, you realise you have been thrown back into the 1980s. The decor is dated and shabby. The management need to realise that scattering soft toys around the lobby not only adds to the outdated feel, it also creates a slightly creepy atmosphere.

The rooms are no better. No air-con. Outdated decor. Dead flies in the windows. A cup full of cigarette ends on the balcony. A bathroom that Hitchcock would have loved. A shower that dribbles water and makes a screeching noise.

Positives - err, none.

We stayed at Lac Le Jeune for 1 night. After some initial confusion over our booking we were directed to cabin 13 which was tastefully furnished with beautiful views of the lake.

The cabin had a full kitchen, lounge and bathroom, with a queen room on the ground floor and 2 double beds in the loft area and a shared deck at the front of the cabin, which was lovely to sit out on and relax with views of the lake.

The main lodge was well equipped with a pool , small gym and hot tub. Whilst we did not use these facilities they were clean and well maintained.

Wifi was advertised at the resort however it was only possible to obtain it near the main lodge however this did not impact our stay and would not deter us from staying again at this resort.

We stayed at this resort during my son's hockey tournament.

Beautiful location and awesome cabins.

The cabins are nice and open layout with log cabin feeling. Our cabin had a queen size bed on the main floor with 2 double beds in the loft.

A full kitchen with stove ,microwave and fridge.

The main lodge has a nice pool and lounge area.

The only negative is the WiFi is terrible but it didn't bother me since it was a nice weekend to relax.

We will be back for sure.

We had the privilege of attending our son’s wedding at Lac Le Jeune Wilderness Resort this past weekend. The cabins were clean and well appointed but what made the weekend such a success was working with Ang and Charlene to ensure the wedding was a success. They were professional, approachable and extremely helpful. They helped make what can be a stressful, busy event into a relaxing celebration, and we are extremely grateful. I would definitely recommend hosting any function here!

My husband and I travelled from Calgary, through the Rockies, and over to Victoria, on a self-drive holiday, stopping at various locations as we went. Lac Le Jeune Wilderness Resort was one of them.
Our first problem was that the Resort allows booking sites to use a postcode that relates to Kamloops, some 40+ km away. With a Sat Nav that didn't do us any favours either, it took us about 2 hours to find the place. On arriving we discovered that the cabin we'd been allocated, had a good position with a nice view, but other cabins on the site had no view at all. I have no idea if the price you pay reflects the view you have - so we'd advise that you check this first. We had our dinner on the front decking that evening as it was warmer outside, than in the cabin, which struck us as very cold.
Currently, the 30 cabins are being offered for sale. Our's was already in private hands, and we think that influenced the strict rules and guidelines we found on our arrival. In some ways we couldn't disagree with the sentiments, especially concerning noise, nuisance and general bad behaviour, but the tone was so officious, it implied everyone was likely to behave that way, for which the punishment would be severe (ie. fines and eviction). However, what made us laugh, was the threat of a fine to be levied on "...inventoried..." crockery, glasses and cutlery. Apart from the plates and bowls, absolutely nothing matched, and was reminiscent of unwanted items left on a White Elephant stall. You'd have to be pretty desperate to stoop that low, but I don't doubt that someone possibly would be.
But of all the challenging aspects were the beds. You had a choice of three - 1) downstairs was a 5ft bed in a 5ft 4 inch gap, which meant you had to crawl up to the head end to get in, or 2) & 3) which were on a mezzanine level, both with huge log cross beams, right at head height, that would have knocked you senseless if you'd got up to pee in the night.
With the noise and night-time headlights from Highway 5, slightly taking the edge off the "...wilderness..." angle, I'd say we were left somewhat underwhelmed.
