We have just visited Cyprus for the first time staying in Paphos, the Troodos Mountains and Nicosia. Our favourite place was the Ambelikos Agrohotel. Lovely location in the mountains. For a February visit, skiing nearby on Mount Olympus (the runs are small but its a charming place), less than an hour away from Limassol and not much more than that...

A wonderful evening, hosted by Yiota, Gregory and their wonderful staff. The music was great, mainly Cypriot but with some English thrown in, with encouragement to join in. A great meal was served and the atmosphere was warm and friendly, in fact you become "one of the family" within a very short time. A different Hotel with old Cypriot charm...

Rooms were very cold in winter and we had to sleep with our socks and our thickest winter coats on. The night that we checked in and had dinner, the other patrons from Russia were complaining to the staff about how cold their room is, and that says a lot consider how much colder Russia should be. There's heating in...

The place is nice and authentic, very quite and "villagey", close to the nature. But the room was way too cold at evening (November but weather outside was OK, not a storm) and too dark. That's why I didn't like it. But if you travel at summer time it should be nice. Liked the balcony. The room was pretty small....

The hotel is in a very small village, the rooms are super clean and looks quite new. The view from the rooms is overlooking the village and is beautiful! The staff was kind and very helpful. Since there are no close by restaurants in the village it is possible to eat in the hotel, the food was very very good,...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights. It's a lovely place to stay nestled away in the Troodos mountains. Our room, which had a sauna but no fireplace, had a balcony with fantastic views of the mountains. It was clean and in keeping with the old village style of stone built buildings. We had their breakfast both mornings...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights and we loved it. Nothing luxurious about the place but our room had a lovely four post double bed, sauna and sofa. It was all lovely and clean and fresh. Our balcony overlooked the courtyard and we could see the village and mountains beyond. The evening food was delicious, made with...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for two nights, perched on the side of the hill overlooking the village of Potamitissa. It was a wonderful experience, Gregorios and the staff were great to deal with and made it a real "home stay " feel. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The room...

Booked 2 rooms direct with Yiota to stay for 1 night in September whilst touring Troodos. Was recommended 2 great rooms which were spotlessly clean with excellent views. We had dinner in and had the meze which was cooked to perfection by Gregoris and served by Yiota. These 2 people are great host and nothing was to much trouble we...

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it. It is tucked away up in the mountains a little bit off the beaten track. However, it is not far away from the main mountain attractions around Trodos. There are a few hiking trails around this area, but as we had a car, we decided to drive over to Trodos for...
