We stayed in Punta Faro 2 nights. The location is beautiful and it has a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel room was ok but not anything special. The lunch was usually better than dinner. We had a feeling that they were a bit stingy with giving bigger portions. In the evenings they had happy hour, the cocktails are good and cheap....

Wonderful family vacation of our dreams! The private beach was amazing with hammocks IN the warm water. We definitely recommend scuba driving with Daniel. He was a great instructor and the coral reefs were beautiful!

Had a wonderful and relaxing time here with my husband. Many of the staff members are truly excellent. The food was very good, and the location is magnificent. We visited Punta Faro after spending several days in Cartagena and we are so glad we did.

My wife and I had a truly wonderful experience at Punta Faro. It provided an excellent escape from the city life. It was truly surreal to be surrounded only by the sights and sounds of nature. The food was fresh and natural. The room was comfortable. If you want to get away from it for a few days, this is...

We spent three nights at Punta Faro following a couple of days in Cartagena and really can't fault the hotel. The friendly and attentive staff made every effort to chat with us and ensure we were happy despite our poor spanish, and the fact that we were the only couple not part of the big Argentinian group also staying at...

We went to Punta Faro for our honeymoon after our destination wedding in Cartagena. We loved the hotel, but by far the best part of the trip was the hotel staff and the excellent service they provided. The hotel grounds are excellent and a great way to disconnect from city living. The hotel food was simple but very fresh and...

This was a perfect antidote to Cartagena. A 2 hour, 150.000/RT boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of Cartagena is Hotel Punta Faro on Mucura Island. It is exactly how you imagine Caribbean resorts used to be -- lots of palm trees, coconut trees, thatched roofs, pina coladas and mojitos at the beach bar, private beach without people...

This is a long overdue review for Punta Faro. We visited last February for three nights and had a wonderful stay. I was somewhat unsure as to what to expect since there weren't that many reviews at the time and some were older and mixed. It turned out to be a great stay all around. To start with, the boat...

Decided to book a couple days at Punta Faro after reading about it on Tripadvisor. And I'm SO glad I did. It was absolutely beautiful and serene. The facilities were modern and clean. The island and beach were some of the most beautiful I have ever been to. There were lots of activities to do (trips to nearby islands, snorkeling,...
