We stayed 4 nights in Nirvana and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach huts are clean and have mosquito nets and en suite bathrooms. The restaurant serves good (but not exceptional) food and the staff are very pleasant. Huts are behind restaurant in nice gardens and the restaurant is right on the beach. Om Beach can be a bit dirty and...

This restaurant is racist and shows the substandard to we Kannadigas and Indians. I have travelled abroad many years, my English is fluent, business class etiquettes. But these guys at Niravana did not even allow to enter the restaurant. At the gate only he stood up giving lame reasons like there is no cook and food will be delayed by...

We group of 9 people stayed at this place for one day. Its a very peaceful, calm and quiet place. The beach is approx 300 mts from this place and is a kind of private beach. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and every meal was very tasty, though some items like tea and chapati are overpriced. This is...

Ended up eating here three times. Had Indian veg curries and shared amongst three of us which were absolutely amazing the best food we found on Om Beach. The only downside was that we saw the waiter picking his nose and we had a really disappointing breakfast which included 2 poached eggs that looked and tasted like they'd come from...

If you are looking for some peaceful place with an almost isolated beach, this is the place. They have good tents erected inside a lot of greenery. You might want to take some mosquito repellent cream with you though. Theres an almost empty beach nearby. A unique experience for a stay overnight should be good!

This is a isolated lonely beach with very few amenities in the village of Kagal, kumta nearby Gokarna Karnataka. Unlike other beaches in and around Gokarna this is quite peaceful with the least number of tourists and non availability of a party environment. You can reach here via an auto or bus from Kumta town, just ask for Nirvana Beach...

We stayed at Nirvana for a week and it really was sad for us to leave- our room was one of the cleanest we've had so far in India and sat amongst a garden with other bungalows, good value for 700r and we were able to set up our hammock and have chai on the porch. The food at the...
