We stayed two nights in a room with a private hot spring bath on the balcony and a massage chair. The room was lovely and the hot springs were nice but the food was amazing. We had traditional Japanese breakfasts and one dinner at Chihiro and one dinner at Aotake. Both were excellent. We took the free shuttle bus from... More

Extremely nice Hotel ! Exceptional staff. Very friendly and accommodating ! The facility was amazing clean. Food was Great ! Rooms were spacious and even had a lifted bed. The Hot Springs were best in the World. Everyone went out of their way to make you feel welcome while still maintaining Japanese tradition which is also amazing.

Room is clean with huge windows overlooking the scenery outside. Our western-style room comes with private bathtub complete with all the amenities. Their public hot-spring bath... More

After having experienced both ryokans, we still prefer Kissho esp the lobby. Over the years, we have experienced stays in more than 12 Japanese... More

At the beginning of this June, I went to Yamanaka -ONSEN, which is one of the main hot-spring areas in Kanazawa prefecture, to celebrate my mother's birthday. After checking reputations of visitors, I decided to stay at Kissyo-Yamanaka Japanese-Style Inns. I know my mother likes a spacious nice room to relax, so I chose the room with an open-air hot...
