I stayed only one night in this hotel. The room was nice. Polite staff. The view was great! Very quiet. Has parking. But the tennis court was beyond terrible. Can't believe they charge for it. Need fixing.

Interesting venue which certainly tried hard and offers lovely view. Food appeared catered so no comment on their regular offerings. Also can't comment on accommodations. Public rooms pleasant but sterile. Company fun. Consider returning depending upon company.

I want to start my review by saying that all of the staff apart from one were very friendly and attentive, however, things go downhill from here. We booked the hotel as we love Arbanassi and my children had never experienced the delights of a 5 star hotel, I'm sad to say that they still haven't. Things got off to...

Good location for me, at the end of a quiet road overlooking Veliko Tarnovo. This isolation may not suit everyone, but I enjoyed it. The hotel has an interesting history from the time of the last dictator. I enjoyed the fitness room.

Read that this place has an excellent view of Tsarevets and Veliko Tărnovo and was not disappointed. Truly stunning. The restaurant was closed and the bar food had a couple of varieties of sandwiches - that was it. But it suited our purpose. Don't stay here, though.

The staff was great and met any requests we had with a smile. The room was clean. No indoor pool but there is small roman bath and it was good enough for us. Breakfast was served on a plate and not a buffet but it was ok and one could order more from the restaurant menu. Recomend :)

Overall, it was a great experience! The stuff is friendly and willing to help. Rooms are not 5-star but clean. We enjoyed the SPA and the restaurant was pretty good too - traditional Bulgarian cuisine.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the building is interesting and the views are spectacular, but the owners and managers are doing an appalling job of running it as a hotel. The interiors are faded - tired and worn leather chairs slumped in the lobby (the leg fell off one when I sat in it), grubby net curtains at every...

This hotel was a palace during communist time. It was a countryside residence for the last communist president, Teodor Zhivkov who ruled over the country for 35 years, until the end of communist rule in Bulgaria in the early nineties. As such, it is a beautiful place, built in 1975 with the most expensive materials at the time. It has...
