Detailed Reviews
This hotel is the perfect location for those wanting to visit the St Emilion-Pomerol wine regions but trying to stay away from the crazy expensive hotels in those two towns or the huge masses of tourists. Libourne is a quiet town with a lovely Sunday market which is only about a five minute walk away from the hotel which stands on the waterfront. The staff was super lovely at the check-in while also manning the bar. If not wanting to venture out to any of the nearby restaurants, the hotel bar has a good snack menu with a very tasty duck rillette.

No wifi in room so advised to work in bar by receptionist to obtain wifi signal. I needed privacy so that wasn’t an option.
Road noise penetrated the building and in particular our room from 6am.
Smell of cigarettes on curtains.
The breakfast room was full of uncleared tables - looked really messy.
On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the shower nice and powerful and the hotel carpets were very nice.
Overall we weren’t impressed by the Mercure brand offering I have to say.

We took a standard double room with a view over the river. It was a bit cramped and another time I would book a larger one. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. The car park may seem expensive but it’s worth paying for the convenience of being part of the hotel in a town short of parking spaces. The car park entrance is in rue de la Vieille Grange, just past the hotel on the left as you drive along the quayside.

Loved the location and walk ability of the town. Rooms were comfortable and view was nice. Easy to drive to wineries and coffee in the room was a nice addition.
We loved walking the waterfront and to town. Secure parking was a plus.
Wifi should be secure.

Excellent location right on the river. Easy walk to central square, nice on the river restaurant and snack bar for evening relaxation by the ocean. Room prices reasonable and room very adequate. Breakfast at 20 euros a little pricing. Excellent bakery with great sandwiches located in close proximity.

This is a good hotel in a great situation in Libourne. Good parking, great directions from staff for Bastille day road closures, nice welcome, nice modern room with comfy bed, walk in shower & good air con in a brilliant location, what more could you ask for. Was a stop off for us so didn’t use the hotel much other than for a sleep but would highly recommend at the reasonable pricing. Restored my faith in Mercure again!

I arrived in the early evening in a very large coach . It wasn't easy to navigate to the hotel, so I called them. The nicest girl came out and up the street to guide the coach round to its parking. Perfect English, a warm welcome, always with a smile.
The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Rooms nice and clean. Breakfast only but not a problem. Hotel was quiet and close to the town, and next to the river. Although the water was very brown.
Absolutely wonderful stay, and a big thankyou to Martina for all her help beyond help.

We recently stayed at this accommodation, and can honestly say this was the worst breakfast we have had whilst staying at Accor Hotels. My colleague normally has scrambled eggs for breakfast, but the eggs were so runny he almost threw up!.
There was limited cereals, drinks etc. We paid E15.50 each for breakfast, and when i complained to the Receptionist, there was an apology but no discount.
This was without doubt our worst breakfast experience we have had whilst staying at Accor Hotels, which is why i thought it best to bring this to your attention. Hopefully you will review my comments, and reply.

The train station is 15 mins walk from this hotel. I cannot remember seeing a metro station. It depends if you like walking as it's a nice walk through the town and market.
