Longish stay in September (5 days). Pleasant enough, no frills. Staff helpful; quite a walk to the top of the harbour for a selection of sea food restaurants. Parking at the rear of the hotel, and more off road at the front.

The not so good: arrived from Dieppe Ferry five o'clock in the morning. No one at check had to ring bell and wait whilst a pleasant non English speaking gent (my French isn't so good either) resolved my booking using my passport. Breakfast starts at 06:30 comprising cold buffet with minimal low carb choices (I'm pre-diabetic) even though the advertising...

Excellent, especially the restaurant. The food was five star and the service spot on. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. All the staff in the hotelwere well trained and friendly. The room was large, v clean with a great view. It was a bit strange that the toilet and bathroom weren't side by side, and that the bathroom door was...

This hotel sells you a room described as garden view when all you can see is the kitchen flat roof with noise of the extraction fans. The room is very basic with beige bedding and has threadbare towels. The service is non existent and the staff surly. The room needs TLC.

Good size room with comfortable beds and pillows. Good size bathroom too. Food in restaurant was ok and good choice at breakfast. Location good and plenty of parking on street and behind hotel. Air con not working so moved to another room with no fuss. If all you want is a comfortable, convenient overnight stay then it is fine. We...

We had a large room overlooking the marina. The room was very clean with a comfortable big bed. Plenty of free parking available in the rear car park or on the road at the front of the hotel. We found the staff to be friendly professional and efficient. It's a short, pleasant walk alongside the marina to the market square...

This is a great hotel to stay at. Ideally situated, 10-15 minutes walk from the seafront & town centre. Would recommend paying that little bit extra & stay in a harbour view room. The rooms are large, airy & clean. The staff are friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

A rather modern hotel sitting rather incongruously amid some charming properties on the pretty approach to the harbour. We only stayed 1 night but it did seem to have a line in visiting (Dutch) coach parties! A bit charmless with very uninteresting rooms but comfortable enough. The staff were professional (except the restaurant - see separate review) but not exactly...

The hotel is on the marina not the coast, which was a little misleading at first as the actual Casino is a distance away. However, it is a good base for touring the area, and only 30 minutes from Dieppe for the ferry. The public spaces are light and modern. The bedroom was clean and very large as it was a...

The rooms were fairly big, the beds were perfect, I really slept well. The staff was friendly enough. The quality of the food was a bit disappointing. What wandered me: the servants every night were counting their takings / money in the presence of the guests. Most Unusual. We had good free wide band wifi throughout the hotel.

Thank Peter H
