We enjoyed our one night stay here. The rooms were large and well appointed, they could perhaps do with a fan or air con on hotter days but generally very good. The bar served good beer and nice food. The pool looked great although we did not get time to use it. We will return

This is a lovely hotel and well situated for the valley. The rooms are spacious and clean and have a great view. There are good facilities such as a pool and sauna and tennis courts also. The staff were always helpful and accommodating.

We arrived late but were made very welcome and sorted with our family room immediately which was comfortable and very spacious. It was ideal for a family of 4 to share without being on top of each other. The views were amazing of Mont Blanc from the bedroom windows and balconies. We stayed in both the family rooms at the...

But my experience was that this is a good basic hotel which serves all your needs, clean good breakfast. The star were ok and the owner was able to give advice on mountain conditions. They openly gave me the local bus pass and told me directions. The swimming pool was a bonus.

We arrived on an extremely hot day and realised there was no ceiling fan. The room could not be kept cool in any way because basically, the hotel is equipped for Winter custom. We asked for a fan and were dismissed with the answer "the nights are cooler.' No effort was made to make us comfortable and welcome in this...

Hotel is hot in summer (for 20 days) and cold in winter (more than 90 days) For the moment we focus our energy on the winter to make hotel warm. For the summer : open the Windows.

This is the third time in 5 years that I have been here, this easter mainly because it was a last minute trip. I was appalled at their take publicity, claiming their single had been reduced from EUR 85 to 32 (it is still on Hotels.com website, after I complained about it) (it was a dorm type room with no...

I have just had a long weekend ski trip to les Houches , stayed 4 nights, everything you need, sauna, pool, ski room with heated boot dryers, shuttle bus stop outside which takes a few mins to the ski lifts, breakfasts and a great traditional evening menu, fondu, veal, escargot, pizza, plenty of choice at reasonable prices. I'd happily stay...

We were looking for places for a quick bite to eat after our first day at Les Houches, and that was when we walked past this hotel and decided to give it a go. We ordered 12 escargots for entree, a pizza and entrecot (rib-eye steak)with fries for the main. I was so impressed when the escargots came out, they...

I'm so glad I didn't listen to some of these comments. I travelled to this hotel last week for a three night stay with three of my friends and had a great time. The staff and owner were very welcoming; they all went above and beyond to cater for our every need.some of the rooms could do with a bit...

From the outside, Chris-Tal appears to be a nice little family-run hotel, cozy and welcoming, having all amenities you might desire. On the inside, however, things appear a little different. Our first experience was with the waitress, who acted rather obnoxious throughout the dinner. First, she made a face of annoyance at the fact that we speak English. How strange...
