Excellent hotel located at the edge of the old town. Large room and bathroom. Very good breakfast. Staff English speaking, friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants, cafes etc. just around the corner in the centre of the old town.

We were booked here on our River Main bike tour and delighted by the warm welcome we received from the elegant proprietress Gaby, the recently refurbished, comfortable, large rooms with swish bathrooms, the good location in the old town and the wonderful gourmet breakfast/brunch. The choice was amazing, everything delicious and the service outstanding and friendly. You do not have...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the village of Wertheim. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and attractive. Gaby keeps everything running pleasantly and efficiently, and lays out the most wonderful breakfast spread. Everything you could think of was in the breakfast buffet. A wide selection of fruit, cheeses, meats, fish, eggs,...

This hotel is in the quiet village of Wertheim, and is an excellent base for exploring the area. Wertheim is less touristed than the other more local towns, and the castle is a lovely place to explore, as is the Bronnbach Monastery a short drive away. Gaby is a wonderful hostess, and breakfast is simply extraordinary. It is lunch more...

Gaby provides a GREAT breakfast, a big and clean room, and helped us out with arranging meetings with archivists as we travelled to Wertheim to explore our family history. We loved it so much, we doubled our time in Wertheim. I'll be returning.

My wife and I drove around Southern Germany and Austria for 9 weeks. Our breakfast here was the best of our trip in terms of quality and quantify of offerings, just amazing. Treat yourself and stay here after landing at the Frankfurt airport. It is a short drive south and the town is peaceful, a nice area to explore Miltenberg,...

“in Summer a corner room will mean you have 2 windows to open, some rooms are facing the main road, so this could mean an early wake up call when the traffic starts, but to be honest, the rooms are so nice that a bit of normal village noise will not spoil your visit.”
