Our visit to Achill and our stay at Teach Cruachan could not have been better, we were sad to leave and all planning a return trip. Micheal and Roisin could not have done more for us, from booking a restaurant for dinner, dropping us down to the restaurant that evening, giving us lots of tips on the area, feeding us...

Hi Lyndsey, Thanks a million for your kind words. We're delighted that you and the girls enjoyed your weekend on Achill Island. And meeting Ireland's first citizen on Keem strand had to have been one of the highlights! We look forward to meeting you again. Best wishes, Roisin and Michael

Loved the location with a great view of the sea from the breakfast room. Also enjoying being able to use this room and living room area at any time and being able to make tea/coffee when you wanted to. Within walking distance of 2 pubs, one with great food and staff.

This is a great family run establishment. The proprietor was born in this 100 year old house. And yes it is small but it was very clean up to date and charming. They were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It felt like we were staying with family with out all the drama! 😛

Hi Jeff, thanks so much for your very nice review. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. We'll have to work a bit harder on providing a bit of drama, we try to give the real 'home away from home' experience..LOL! We hope to see you again some time. Best wishes, Michael and Roisin

A great location with wonderful hosts in a laid back west coast area. The views of Clare Island while drinking a cup of coffee after breakfast were amazing. Sitting having late afternoon tea with a sandwich in town and looking at the cliffs and bay while 4 sheep walked down "main street" was another experience

Kevin, thank you so much for your kind review. Hope ye'll make it back to Achill someday when the dolphins are in the bay (they didn't make an appearance while you were here, but came in on Saturday). Best wishes, Roisin and Michael

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Seaview room with excellent view of the mountains and Clare Island. Good walking and sightseeing. Near to Keen bay which is well worth a trip. Bathroom a little small but overall a fantastic place to stay.

Such positive surprise - nice and clean B&B with warm atmosphere and decoration. Great location close to cliffs highest in Europe with two sandy beaches nearby. Very friendly staff / owners and fresh tasty breakfast. Great disassembly point for cyclists and bikers and good starting point for bike trips.

My Husband and I enjoyed 3 sunny days on Achill Island in late May. Teach Cruachan is a comfortable, relaxing B&B with beautiful views and a delicious full Irish breakfast. Roisin and Michael are helpful and easygoing and lovely to chat with about Achill and life in general. There's a friendly Pub with food a short walk from Teach Cruachan...

Location was everything we could hope for, as was the accommodation. Generous tasty breakfasts. Plenty of advice when requested. Within 100 yards of Gielty's pub/café. Scenery outstanding. The beaches are beautiful and plentiful.

This was our first time at a B&B. Micheal and Roisin made us feel very welcome. They were fantastic hosts, helpful with suggestions on where to go to experience the beauty of Achill Island.
