Agriturismo "a lumia" is a wonderfully restful and comfortable place to stay, with the added benefits of stunning food and Laura's delightful company. She obviously enjoys providing an excellent service to her guests and was always happy to give helpful advice. We would happily have stayed longer but hope to go back soon. Noto itself is a very pretty town...

We could not believe how nice stay at agriturismo can be... The house is newly reconstructed with a very good style of keeping old things and making everything comfortable. Living in lemon, orange and almond gardens was new experience and I could just reccommend to try it to everyone. Laura is a very nice person! With her hospitality, attitude and...

Agriturismo "a lumia" is a lovely place for discovering the east of sicily by car. Laura is extremly helpful and caring. We stayed here for two nights what was rather short to visit all the beautiful places. The locatation of the A lumia is very calm and peaceful. From the terrace you have a beautiful view towards Noto. The rooms...

Amid citrus plantation, this is a magical place with panoramic view of charming Noto (nearby town). Well restored and furnished rooms is overtaken only by a delicious cooking by Laura. Dinner costs additonal 25 Euro per person but it is worth it every euro. We wished we could stayed longer. Recommended!

We just got back from this aguaturismo. I can't say enough how good the food (dinner and breakfast) was or how hospitable the host is. The room was very nice and large and the bed was very comftable. We loved walking all around the vineyards and lemon and orange groves. The host also gave us excellent recommendations on day trips....

Visiting Sicily was one of our best vacations ever, and our stay at "A lumia" made a big difference. We appreciated the way Laura & Salvatore spend time with us and let us into their life. We saw a very “authentic Sicily” and visited nice restaurants together. They had good advices about "places to go". Funny how many of the...

My parents and I spent four days in this lovely family run agriturismo just a few minutes from Noto. In all my years of travel, I have never come across a more family-welcoming place than A Lumia. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like family. Laura, Salvatore and Corrada are EXCEPTIONAL hosts who really go out of their...

We spent 4 nights late March 2012 at the Agriturismo A Lumia, just 2 km outside of Noto. The house is situated in the middle of a lemon & orangeyard and has a beautiful view over Noto. The room was good and the welcome and breakfast by the owner fantastic. A good place to discover the beauty of southeast Sicily....

My boyfriend and I stayed at three agriturismos in Sicily and this one was by far the best. The owner was the sweetest lady who went out of her way to accomodate us. She gave us great suggestions on areas to visit and restaurants in the area, which all turned out to be wonderful. Her property is filled with almond,...

“The rooms vary in size. The first room they showed us was small but the view from the small window was so wonderful we decided to stay. It was cozy, but a little like camping. If you go in spring or fall chances are you can get one of the larger rooms if you wish.”
