It is the six time we are in your beautiful hotel Wellness Hotel Mezzolago and it is always a big pleasure! We are coming to your hotel by ourself and with gourps to Via ferrata trips. We always get help with anything we need. Your kindness and hospitality is the best! Also your staff Deborah Filippi and the other. It is the best place to stay in the area that offers many hikes and via ferrata trails. Thank you very much! We will surely come again!
Wonderful location right on the lakefront with easy access to the lakeside walk leading to local villages. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. Amazing views. These rooms were very quiet except for neighbouring rooms using the bathrooms. The beds are on the firm side so I didn’t find them particularly comfortable. They are simply furnished but kept clean. Breakfast was typical continental fayre but plentiful and very good. As we travelled with inghams we were provided with a packed lunch which was rolls filled with continental meats/cheese and a piece of fruit. This saved us having to worry about finding somewhere to eat or buy provisions. The evening meal started with a sumptuous salad buffet which comprised of a massive range of dishes to choose from. The starters were quite large and usually contained pasta or soup as a choice. Again very good. The mains were smaller and more traditional fayre. Not always my taste (cold veal with a tuna sauce!!!), Fish was always good. Desserts were good but no choice other than ice cream. There was one young lady who served evening meals who made us very welcome but the rest of the staff did not particularly give that impression including the owner. Got the feeling English people were just tolerated, Germans welcomed with open arms. Would of given another star if staff were friendlier. All in all we did enjoy or stay and Lake Ledro is a lovely unspoilt area well worth a visit if you like peace and quiet and few amenities.…
Best service and excellent food, great view of the lake. Aldo, thank you so much. The third time we are here and will certainly come again. Excellent hotel. We warmly recommend! Noam bank and all the group.
We have recently returned from two excellent weeks at the Hotel Mezzolago. The view from our balcony was stunning, to wake in a morning and look out across the lake only a few feet away was very special. Breakfast and dinner were both exceptional, particularly the salad buffet. Our room was very clean and well maintained. All the staff were helpful and very friendly, but the undoubted star was the owner, Aldo. He went out of his way to ensure that all of his guests were happy and he was always on hand to give any assistance or help if needed.
You never quite know what you're in for when you book a hotel on line without personal recommendation, but we could not have been more delighted with our choice. Aldo was the perfect host, charming and efficient, and all his staff were helpful and friendly. Our rooms were comfortable with balconies overlooking the beautiful Lago di Ledro, which seems different every time you look, and it was plenty warm enough to eat and drink outdoors on the terrace every night, with the lake so close you can watch the fish and the water birds with your binoculars in one hand and a glass off wine in the other. The twisting mountain roads can be a little hairy if you're driving and it's a testing 160km/4 hour drive from Milan Malpensa, but there is a reasonably frequent bus to Riva del Garda and many other places once you're there.…
