Hotel Borgo San Felice

Certificate of Excellence
San Felice is a medieval hamlet with rural architecture typical for the Chianti, nestling amidst vineyards and olive groves that cover the hills sloping gently towards the picturesque city of Siena. Today San Felice is a five star hotel, part of the prestigious international chain Relais & Chateaux. Situated in the heart of Tuscany in Chianti Classico, San Felice is only ½ hour driving distance to reach the art centres as Siena.

Our first visit was for almost a full week. We wish it could have been longer. The setting is peaceful and serene, in the midst of vineyards. We woke up each day to a postcard view of Tuscany.

The staff was not just attentive, but caring, thoughtful and professional. With

We stayed there for a couple of nights, but I wished it could be longer. The place is wonderful, beautiful countryside, and installations are impecable. But what really makes the difference are the staff. Kind and helpfull everytime. Just perfect. Highly recommend!

This is THE place to stay if you want to drive around Tuscany. Sure, the rooms have been updated and are beautiful, beds, bathrooms and facilities are perfect. It is like living in an old village, with modern amenities, great service and fabulous food. When I called for a pot

We stayed at this fabulous Relais & Châteaux resort for three nights. It was such a treat. It’s located in the Chianti hills and a good location for exploring Sienna, and the surrounding Chianti countryside. It is also a bikers paradise!

Where do I fly into from Los Angeles? Last October I landed in Rome but that is very far from Chianti. Also, do you have wine tasting of San Felice wines?
Fly into Florence. It’s an easy ride. And there is a nice wine tasting at San Felice

My wife and I are visiting for 3 days this fall, and were wondering whether it is necessary to rent a car. We were planning to take the train to Siena, and take a taxis when necessary from there. Are taxis relatively available, or is it worth renting a car? We weren't planning to do a ton of exploring, outside of spending part of a day in Siena.
Don't believe you can get there without s car or a (extremely expensive) driver. ....

Honestly? Yes the rooms are not as large as "American" standards, however, you cannot rate Borgo as just average for cleanliness. This resort is immaculate, also the service is impeccable. We visited Apri, 2016. All the staff were top notch, accommodating and completely at our service. You were fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful place. Learn to enjoy!
I'm not sure what you are talking about We have been going there for 15 years and love everything about the place
