We spent a one week holiday here in late June. Our apartment was one of the new/ recently built ones and I have no complaints about the flat, apart from the nets to keep the mosquitos away being rather torn and hence not doing their job. We had a view of the country side and not the sea, which was a bit unfortunate but did not bother us too much. The flat as such was modern, spacious and well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob. The hotel grounds have an amazing view of the sea from almost all areas. I believe that the restaurant on site offers full breakfast and snacks as well as dinner, but for some reason the services and offers were not well advertised, so we did not use them and self-catered for us. There is a small playground area for kids to play right next to the pool and a second pool that is covered by a roof. Both pools were clean and cleaned on a daily basis. Unfortunately one day the guy proceeded to clean the outside pool while people were in the pool, not ideal. Reception staff was kind and helpful to point out good restaurants, nice beaches nearby, wine tasting events and general excursions. Ideally they would be available during more hours though. We stayed here for four nights with friends whilst visiting the surrounding areas of Tuscany and also the Tuscan coast. This was a great place to base ourselves for travelling around everywhere. The facilities and breakfast we had were all excellent and there were plenty of good quality restaurants nearby where the food was great.
