We stayed here for 3 nights as we were attending an event locally. The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast including fresh fruit. The hotel is ideally situated for a walk to the lovely nearby beach. There are plenty of restaurants close by with many having fish as their speciality as Matosinhos is a fishing port. Our room was well equipt including a fridge. It could be improved by providing hot drink making facilities in the room. Also the only mirror was in the bathroom and of no use if you've just had a shower. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.
Located in a scruffy part of Matosinhos but very close to the beach and the tram to Porto is right outside the hotel. The staff are lovely. Parking close by on the port road (free] or outside the market (metered]. Handy for the airport, which is a short drive away.
I reserved a block of rooms for a group of Americans visiting in Porto. The service was 5 star. Everyone at the hotel was so helpful. The group coordinator also helped make dinner reservations at some local restaurants.
I work with a major hotel industry. A Basic room that is clean & clean bathrooms. Excellent place to stay close from the beach. Breakfast is excellent! Staff is really nice. I do recommend this hotel. I'll be staying here in the future when I’m back visiting Portugal 🇵🇹.
This hotel was only 20 minutes from the airport by taxi. We chose it because we were starting the Camino on the coastal route the next day. Friendly and efficient staff checked us in and offered the 1st stamp for our Camino passport. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a good shower and we slept well. Breakfast was disappointing. There were not a lot of options and it was rather disorganised. We were down at 8am but there were no plates left for the food. The service was very slow and cutlery was missing and hard to find. This was a pity as the rest of our experience was good. However the price was reasonable and it served its purpose. For those doing the Camino - going out of the hotel and turning right puts you on the right path. We wandered around a bit before we found our way so I'm sharing that so others don't wander around like we did.…
