For the price point is OK. The rooms are a bit old style, the TV was with a crappy signal. The breakfast was a continental choice. Overall good for playing some visit to the city without spending a lot of money.

I stayed overnight. A good hotel for the price. Good location, clean and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a night in Porto. Close to the beach and restaurants. Nice quiet location and yet very accessible. Walking distance to great restaurants and about 15 minutes drive from the mayor attractions.

We visited Porto for a long weekend. Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Good sized room and very clean. The staff were all helpful. A ride into Porto proper takes just over half an hour and cheap. If you like seafood there are a large number of fish restaurants two streets over. We would definitely use this hotel again next time...

We stayed at this Hotel for a few days while we did business in Porto. With a direct train line to Porto - we were able to explore Porto and come back to relax and not get lost with our car. This hotel is like times past and it seems that it is forgotten a bit since the road in...

Stayed here for 5 nights to watch Rally de Portugal. It's an old hotel but I can't say anything really bad about it. The hotel was full but never seen anyone at the bar. The bar wouldn't be great size so we normally drank outside at the cafe next door. Staff were friendly and helpful. Most morning we had breakfast...

Worth its price. Located close to the blue line of Porto's metro Rua Brito Capelo stop, so you're about 40 minutes away from Porto center. From the other hand you're 10-15 minutes away from Matosinhos beach. Also there're a lot of seafood restaurants near it. Don't miss Taberna Lusitana which is 5 minutes away from it. There's the sport bar...

I recently spent 2 very enjoyable nights here with friends before setting off walking the Camino De Santiago up the coast from Porto. This was the ideal starting point. It is a basic, but charming hotel and good value too. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Matosinhos is a suburb in northern...

Hotel Porto Mar is a rather simple place to stay, but you dont need 5 stars all the time to be satisfied, sometimes 3 stars are enough to be happy. This hotel has the best location of the port city of Leixös. Very convinient is the metro-stop to Porto-City, it takes only a few footsteeps. The beautiful Matoshinos-Beach is a...

A nice hotel. Clean. Basic bf. Bread butter coffee ham cheese ..yogort.. nothing fancy but nice. The only short coming is the long distance to city center. It takes around 30 min by metro ..metro runs right on the hotel street. Station is 5 min walk. 80€ for two nights breakfast included. Parking in a near by parking for 4.50€...

The room was supposed to be a Suite, it was small and very old. In addition the room was very humide. The breakfast was bad. I do not know what positive point I can mentioned. Avoid this hotel before any improvements.
