Well it was a rainy day and although it was forecast as Gota Fria we got off quite lightly but we still had a day to fill in bad weather. An hours drive for us and we went for the thermal baths. The staff could have been more helpful in advising that we needed to purchase padlocks for lockers and swimming caps but no, we had to make two trips back to reception in our swimming costumes!!! Once inside though we had a very relaxing four hours. Would we return, yes. Not sure if I’d like to come back in warm weather if it was more crowded.

Let me begin with the Buffet restaurants: poor quality and quite limited choice for it to be worth the 20€ per person price. The room we stayed at, which admittedly was the basic, could be imptoved in so many ways: no mini-bar, no fridge, smelly, no hair dryer, very old, noisy, etc... This all would be tollerable if the Circuit Spa (30€ entrance fee) had something to excite, which unfortunately it didn't: four saunas that just differed in temperature, no delicate design or aroma or lighting features. The lemon pool is just a simple jaccuzi with lemons floating around you for no apparent medical or easthetic reason. Exterior pool is too small and not too comfortable for a cold day. The floating pool may have the least to complain about. Finally, the area doesn't have enough natural light or windows with proper view to the sorounding hills. You need to pay extra to hire towels, lockers, and swimming caps (compulsory). I have been to far better Spas in Italy, Austria, and Germany.

Having read the description and seen photos of the spa I couldnt wait to visit. I was disappointed from the start! First the cost, just over 50 euros for using the pool areas ONLY! Second, the pool areas, a lot of them but more of a aqua park for families rather than a relaxing spa area. Third, lack of cleanliness around the pool area, I spotted some 'poo' at the side of the pool which was only cleaned because I insisted, and then it was cleaned only with water. Fourth, a used sanitary towel in the ladies showers! On our way out I reported everything, they appeared to listen and took my mobile number, so far they have not contacted me which can be seen as 'once I left the complaint was forgotten'. Yes, I understand the general public are not always clean and don't take responsibility but the customer service should be reassuring customers they take complaints seriously, not taking contact numbers for the sake of it!

This hotel and spa was very disappointing. The hotel building was old with outdated, damaged furniture and poor quality bedding. Our room smelled excessively of an abrasive bathroom cleaner but there were still hairs from the last guest on the floor and bidet. The spa facilities are old with water damaged walls, saunas that smell of body odor and rusting light fixtures. While the spa and its hotel may have been of moderate quality when it was built, it is obvious that very little has been done to maintain either facility, although the business is still charging high rates for its usage. Don't waste your time or money here--wait to go to a decent spa elsewhere.
