Excellent hotel, the club is really good and the food & drink is plentiful and really good.(drink is included from 18.00 to 21.00 every day) Only downside was the staff were nice and worked hard but there were not enough of them, the pool bar was not manned as it should be, and it could be really slow at breakfast,...

We visited during February Half Term and had a wonderful holiday despite the awful weather. We arrived at 6.00pm to a candlelit entrance hall that led to an impressive reception area. Check in was quick and efficient and the complimentary cocktail most welcome! We were shown to our room 602 and our teenagers were in 603. They are impressive rooms...

The hotel is made up multiple different buildings which make it very attractive but means that everything is very spread out which we didn't mind but may not suit everyone. The room was a very good size and included an internal and external seating area which were useful when the weather was not so good and we wanted to retreat...

We stayed here for 4 nights in early February and had a fab time. We were allocated room 268 which overlooked a swimming pool and faced west, so we had evening sun on our terrace. The rooms are lovely, large and with a comfortable seating area. Bathrooms are beautiful and we even had rose petals scattered on the wash basin...

Our first visit to this hotel and resort area. Arrived after dark and were instantly impressed by entrance like a church with candles and music. Check in was quick and friendly and we were taken to our room by a porter. We had booked a standard room that in other hotels would be classed as a suite with its large...

The hotel is a very unusual building, built to resemble a volcano. There is a large atrium inside, which houses the reception area, the bars, boutiques and a sitting area, that seems to be used mainly by people tapping into the hotel wifi, not reachable in the bedrooms. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a huge bed, a...

We stayed at the Volcan Club. No children, just peace and luxury. The Club has its own breakfast room, lounge and most of all sun area with pool and jacuzzi. No rushing around for a bed, beautiful. Stayed 7 nights half board. Had ground floor room near main pool - big room with separate bathroom and toilet, lounge area and balcony; very comfy and well cleaned. Room walls are not good for sound proofing. Underplayed hotel entrance leads to dramatic reception area and creatively laid out village feel hotel on various levels with very well maintained grounds,...

Well, it looks quite nice despite the ugly pile of rocks-for-a-roof that purport to resemble a volcano; and the entrance through a church complete with organ music is surreal! Location is good, close to the up-market Rubicon Marina. The food was not special though; more works canteen than 5star cuisine. The restaurant ambiance was more 'bun fight' than fine dining...
