We have just returned from a week all inclusive at this lovely hotel. Ok there is work going on to replace tiles around the pool area but you don’t have to sit right next door to it on your sun bed and moan like we saw many people doing. We just sat in another area where we

Dear Lady, £70 per person compensation that TUI gave you, and I was not agree with that, because we agreed previously not to give compensations, nothing at all. Yes, we are tiling a part of the pool area and have drill noise (to replace the old tiles) twice a week from 9 to 11 and from 5 to 6pm. in the area of 70m2 where we were working. All services are still carry on, and our solarium/pool area is 7.000m2 and in 4000m2 of those it it not only 100% at any time, even you don't see the workes. Sorry that you find that upset. Regards, José Angel Vázquez General Manager PS: I cannot find your first review of the hotel, dated in december 2018 where you write that you have been very happy.... Maybe my new computer has still difficulties to access to every site of the Tripadvisor, because I'm sure that you are very fair and now has write Dissapointing, and there is another review of december with a "very happy".

Just back from a week's all inclusive holiday at the H10 Timanfaya Palace with my husband and his elderly mother. The hotel is well situated and it is very easy to walk to the centre of the resort with its many shops, restaurants, bars and to the marina and harbour for boat

Dear NellyHastings, Thanks for your review. Thank you for writting, as many other guests "The hotel is being refurbished and work is on going around the pool area. The workmen did their best not to make too much noise and disruption was minimal.". About the "The room is dated and the bathroom although large and functional is in dire need to be replaced"... Since 2017 we are renovating rooms and, specially bathrooms. But it take longgggg time, as we are renovating 4 by 4, not to bother our dear guests. Now we are working in the Zero floor. We do not stop. All the hotel will be ready at the end of 2020. Gracias. Best regards, José Angel Vázquez

Dear all, I'm back from holidays... Thank you for having answered all questions ;) ----- I june for sure we are ready.... and in May finished too. However, we have 7000m2 of solarium and guests don't need to be near the 70m2 of the area that we are tiling. Gracias!

Hi there to guests who visit early December what’s the weather like?
Mixed bag really, breezy some days, can be cloudy/windy/cool! On these days we explore the island, walk work off calories! Can also be boiling hot, but you will return with a lovely tan, as wind seems to tan as well as sun. We love it as it makes winter shorter. Take variety of clothes, bit def not as cold as UK.

Hi we are going to this hotel in June Is it worth upgrading to privilege?
Personally I think it is worth upgrading. As well as having a better room you get a free safe, a free mini bar, access to the lounge where you can get free drinks (alcoholic, soft, tea/coffee, water) all day long, and nibbles. You can also eat in the waiter service restaurant if you want a change to the buffet with no extra cost. We always choose Privilege. It is a lovely hotel . Enjoy your holiday.

I think dinner is served until about 10 so you should be OK. The first time we arrived it was quite late and we were encouraged by reception to enjoy our meal before checking in which worked. There will be a cold supper and drink left in the restaurant for you if it has stopped serving when you get there. TC
