We had a wonderful 3 night stay in a Family Room in Building 2 and were delighted by everything. The room had a great kitchenette, a balcony with a hammock overlooking the pool, and a sunken living area with a pull-out sofa bed big enough for 2. The A/C was powerful and wifi was excellent. We didn't realized the outdoor pool was heated too, so that was a great surprise! It is divided into 2 sections : 12 and over with loungers and jets and 6 and over on the only side. My kids were a little confused by this at first and desperately wanted to try out the loungers, but were told to stay away. There was a nice baby pool, as well. Breakfast was the same all 3 days with lots of options, but a change in the main dish would have been nice. The Caribbean pool in building 1 was a lot of fun too (not heated). You're allowed to use their Smart car to get to it if you wish. The game room was fun for the kids for a while. Nice, easy walk to the beach and to all the great restaurants in town. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to someday return.…
We had a great week at the Augusta hotel it was beautiful and clean. Our kids truly enjoyed it as well, especially the kids pools. The view was also gorgeous! We will definitely be going back when we visit Galicia!
Used the Spa hotel for a 4 day break whilst I was racing down the road at Pontevedra. The rooms were a great size given that I had my bike with me and I needed a bit of room for faffing about, and the food in the hotel was excellent. Would recommend.
Overall we’ve enjoyed the stay and must say the staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant was truly great. But when spending over 330€ per night expectations are somewhat high and they were not really met. We considered other options but went for this hotel due to the kids friendly pitch…so few free of charge tips to high-end hotel that target families - Don’t play live music below the guest's bedrooms until midnight. Most young kids sleep after 22… also their parents - Don't call a large room “a suite”. You can call it “executive” or “deluxe”. Most hotels use the suite to two-rooms or more. When you call it a suite that is what most people expect. As a family, you want the extra room when the kids are finally in bed… - Ask the gardener not to operate machines that make loud noise early in the morning - Don't call the room at 14:00 to ask what the guests think of the service as the parents and kids might be taking an afternoon nap… - ...also don’t call at 14:00 to ask when to come by and clean the room (that was empty from 9-12) when there is a “don’t disturb” on the door. Same reason.. - Invest in a decent coffee machine for breakfast or provide decent coffee in the rooms. Most hotels have already figured that out. - As a beach/pool hotel make it easy to change towels. It shouldn’t be that complicated - A kids pool should have plenty of shade and shouldn’t have gravel (yes…small stones) around it……
Me and my family stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and we feel very good. The room was spacefull and bright, and with a lovely balcony, where we can see very beautiful panoramic views. Despite the location wasn't very good, the breakfast was amazing. I want to talk about the pools and the SPA, there are extremely good and nice. The SPA treadment was specially good and luxury. The price was a bit expensive, but we stayed very confortable.
